Bidding adieu to your favourite Dancing On Ice contestant when their elimination time comes to depart the line-up is one thing, but believing they were 'wrongfully' voted off in a 'fixed' result is something else to come to terms with entirely.
As is the case for last night's instalment, during which ski jumper Eddie 'The Eagle' Edwards was booted off the show whilst Love Island star Amber Davies sailed through to next week's semi-finals.

Following impressive performances from all remaining celebrities in the nail-biting semi-finals, it was down to Eddie, 60, and Amber, 27, to skate again.
The snow-sport pro performed an elegant routine - alongside partner Vicky - to Elton John's 'Rocket Man', whilst reality star Amber danced a powerful performance to 'Power' by Little Mix with her partner Simon Senecal.
While ex-Strictly star Oti Mabuse and American ice-skater Johnny Weir opted to save Eddie in the 'skate-off', Olympic legends Jayne Torville and Christopher Dean voted to save Amber.
With the vote split, it was up to 'Head Judge' Christopher Dean to make the ultimate decision, resulting in Eddie being sent home.

Amber will now perform next Sunday night alongside fellow quarter-finalists, Coronation Street star Adam Thomas, Made In Chelsea heartthrob Miles Nazaire, Olympic long-jumper Greg Rutherford and radio host Adele Roberts.
Despite the judge's vote, however, thousands of viewers have seemingly been left of upset by last night's results.
In fact, many Dancing On Ice fans have accused ITV producers behind-the-scenes of 'fixing' the quarter-final results in order to ensure that West End star Amber would make it through to the top five.

Taking to social media, one viewer branded the judge's vote a 'nonsense decision', adding: "Eddie is by far a better individual skater than Amber, he should have gone through based purely on skating."
Another hit out: "Absolute disgrace, thats me not watching any more, fix."
"It's a con, Amber fluffed up at the end and did not skate on her own, and Chris saw it clearly, Eddie was robbed he was the better skater, plus he had to lift his partner. The competition is rigged. Unfair elimination," added a third.
Some viewers even claimed they'd had enough of watching the show following last night's show: "That's it for me, I won't be watching dancing on ice anymore. It is clearly rigged, no way would Amber beat Eddie if it was fair competition".

Another penned: "How are the judges saving someone who still doesn’t skate by themselves? I’m calling rigged"
Tyla has contacted ITV for comment on the accusations.
