Kim Kardashian has opened up about what really happened behind THAT viral moment with Anna Wintour at Paris Fashion Week last year, having finally spilled the tea in a brand new episode of The Kardashians.
Yep, everyone’s favourite reality series is back for season five, and the series premiere alone gets things off to a strong start as we see Kourtney navigating her pregnancy while Kris plans her the perfect baby shower, and Khloe is presented with a ‘fresh start’ as she faces pressure from Kim to ‘change her ways’.
Kendall, meanwhile, is strutting her stuff on the catwalk at Victoria Beckham’s Paris Fashion Week show, with Kris and Kim also jetting off to France to support her.

“Bring your family to work day!” Kris jokes to Kendall as everyone’s getting ready.
The event, which took place last September, landed the family in headlines after people claimed Vogue Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour gave Kim a frosty reception as they sat beside one another.
Footage showed Kim arriving and taking her seat next to Anna, who had Victoria’s hubby David Beckham on her other side.

At the time, people reckoned the body language between the duo looked awkward, with speculation that Anna was annoyed at Kim for being ‘late’.
Kim has now spoken out about what really happened that day, revealing that she’d felt really ‘stressed out’ as they made their way to the show.
“The car ride took us an hour so we’re 20 minutes late to the show, and I’m not late like that,” she says in episode one of The Kardashians.
“I’m very respectful of people’s time and I feel really bad that we’re late.”

Kris also recalls how she felt ‘terrible’ after giving themselves ‘plenty of time to get there’, echoing her daughter’s comments about never being late.
The Kardashian matriarch was worried they wouldn’t even make the show, saying she knew how much it meant to Kim as she and Victoria are ‘good friends’.
Kim continues: “I'm just stressed out because I know what’s gonna come, for everyone to then start with this story that we held up the show - ‘who do they think they are?’, that ‘Anna was mad’, that ‘we don’t like each other’.

“I think if anything, I feel like we have to be extra on time – early – just not give anyone a reason to talk s**t.”
And after all that, Kris and Kim admitted that they actually missed Kendall’s moment because they didn’t spot her walking.
"I did not see you walk because I didn’t recognise you,” Kris says in a message to Kendall with a mortified smile.

“It’s so horrible!”
After the show Victoria Beckham had to explain to Kris and Kim that Kendall had closed the show.
“She was the last one, she was the final look,” she told the pair in footage from the day, adding that the model was ‘so sweet and kind’ to everyone.
Thankfully, Kendall wasn’t too bothered, admitting she ‘kind of loved’ the fact her family and friends didn’t recognise her.
“That’s kind of always my goal, being a chameleon, I guess – in the sense of becoming a different character, I don’t know!” she tells the camera.
The Kardashians season five is now streaming on Disney+.
