Kim Kardashian has faced criticism after revealing her children 'might not be the most comfortable' around Tristan Thompson’s younger, disabled brother, and asked a 'tone-deaf' question.
The 44-year-old reality star has been slammed on social media, after an episode of The Kardashians shows her children playing at 18-year-old Amari Thompson's birthday party.
The teen has a severe form of epilepsy known as Lennox-Gastaut syndrome, and was joined by several of the Kardashian/Jenner children on his special day, including Penelope, 12, North, 11, Saint, eight, Chicago, seven, Stormi and True, both six, Psalm, five, Tatum, two, and others.

During an interview in the most recent episode, Kim admitted that her children have a 'lot of questions' when it comes to Amari’s disability, remarking they 'might not be the most comfortable’ around him.

But viewers were furious when they saw a clip of her asking Chicago if she was 'scared' of Amari.
“There’s no need to be,” she continued. “But it’s okay if you are.”

One user said: "Why the f*** would Kim ask those kids if they're scared of Amari!? what in the juvenile, tone-deaf question is that!?"
Another added: "Exploiting a child with epilepsy and dragging him in front of a camera just to have a storyline for your dumb show is vile. I truly hate this family."
A third noted: "It’s not okay though…Why would you even say that! Scared of what?"
However, not everyone thought what she said was bad and instead praised their handling of the situation.

"I have to give kudos to the Kardashian crew. Amari is clearly so loved," wrote one user.
Another said: "Favourite episode!!! Knowledge is power and that leads to inclusion."
Other people prompted Kim to 'educate' her children about why Amari is different, but the star admitted that she wanted her children to be surrounded by different types of people.
The mum-of-four said during the episode: "I think it’s so important that they play with him and they really get to know him."

She continued: “I love our kids growing up around him and helping him."

Khloé Kardashian, who co-parents two children with basketball player Tristan, admitted that her children - True and Tatum - are ‘much more exposed’ to Amari than some of the other Kardashian/Jenner clan.
She said: "True’s more concerned than frightened of Amari, but I do think it’s important for our kids and everyone’s kids to be exposed to all different types of people.

"Amari has never and will never be a burden or anything like that.
"Amari is one of the most special souls I have ever met."
Many viewers noted that the main problem was with filming the birthday party.
One said: "Beautiful message just not something that’s needed to be filmed for profit."
Another added: "Everything true...Wish it wasn't televised though."
