Kim Kardashian has been faced with criticism for wearing a controversial piece of royal jewellery on the red carpet.
The star purchased the 'Attallah Cross' in 2023 for just under $200,000, but fans have branded the move 'tone deaf'.
She boasted the necklace on the red carpet at the 2024 LACMA Art + Film Galaon on Saturday (November 2) in Los Angeles.

The mum-of-four paired the iconic necklace with a racy white gown, which some viewed as 'audacious'.
The outrage comes after the necklace was famously worn by the late Princess Diana for a charity event in 1987, but she wore the antique amethyst necklace on multiple occasions.
And it's not the first time that Kim has worn classic pieces that previously belonged to highly-regarded women.

She infamously wore Marilyn Monroe's 'Happy Birthday Mr. President' dress to the Met Gala in 2022, and faced criticism for her choices.
Having worn the necklace, made up of 900 pearls, people were quick to say what they thought of the bold move.
One said: "She wants to be connected to the Royal Family so bad."
Another added: "If you're going to wear such a sacred religious symbol at least wear it with some class as Diana did. Show some respect..."

A third wrote: "She had the audacity to put it on with this dress.
"Purely tone deaf, uneducated narcissistic unattractive brain."
But some people came to defend the star, noting that she did in fact own the piece.

One said: "I don't think there is anything offensive here. She owns the necklace now, doesn't she?"
Another agreed, saying: "It's cool, where is the offence."
"It's her property now, why should it be offensive, do whatever you do with your property right," a third added.
But one hater went as far as to say it wasn't what 'Diana would have wanted' for the necklace.

They explained: "Can I just say I find Kim Kardashian wearing Princess Diana's cross a revolting flaunt of wealth, power, and ignorance.
"There is no way this is what Diana would have wanted."
One user in the comments disagreed, adding: "Diana seemed like a gentle and kind woman, I think she would approve of Kim doing it her own way.
"I don't think she would shame women for having more revealing clothing than she would."
