EastEnders fans have enjoyed a blinder of a Christmas week, after one of the biggest 'whodunnit' TV murders of the year was finally solved.
The eagerly-anticipated festive episode finally hit our screens on Christmas Day after months of mysterious teasing from producers, with six potential lady-killers behind the murder.
A promo picture for the hotly-discussed episode announced who was up in the rundown for EastEnders characters who could have been on the chopping block.

It saw the likes of Dean Wicks (Matt Di Angelo), Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden), Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters), Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry), Jack Branning (Scott Maslen), Rocky Cotton (Brian Conley) and Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara), who were all standing in the Queen Vic – where the murder would happen – wearing cufflinks that the BBC hinted were relevant in some way.
We were also teased with info on who the six suspects for the grisly crime were comprised of Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean), Linda Carter (Kellie Bright), Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal).
Denise Fox (Diane Parish) was also a suspect - as was Kathy Cotton (Gillian Taylforth) and Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner).

We now know, of course, that the murder victim was fan-favourite Keanu Taylor, who was killed by Linda Carter after the Queen Vic landlady stabbed him in the back and left him to die at the bottom of her stairs.
Keanu's lifeless body was then buried in the burned-out cafe.
It turns out, however, that multitude of TV fans viewers believe that producers aren't quite finished with their plot twists for the year.
Instead, they're under the impression the storyline of 'The Six', which began with a flash forward episode in February, will commence in the new year with Rocky Cotton's death.

Walford was left in crisis in September when the actor that plays Rocky - Brian Conley - called it quits out of the blue.
Because of this, hundreds of fans now believe a second murder plot could be ahead of us, as a means of explaining his exit.
"I have a feeling we'll have Rocky's exit tomorrow night - Karen & The Taylors left on a Friday and surely Rocky's exit must be the reason for an extra episode this week," one fan wrote on X this week.

"We've got 5 this week we normally get 4."
Another implored producers: "The six NEED to kill Rocky, he’s being way too nosey for my liking".
"Either Rocky gonna get set up or he’s the next victim," a third went on.

And a fourth also asked: "Are #TheSix going to murder rocky too?…"
While aother continued: "If Rocky carries on pursuing the Sharon thing, I can envisage a New Year's murder on the cards."
Only time will tell...
