Friends has a place in all of our hearts.
The beloved sitcom series, which ran between 1994 all the way through to 2004, provided us with a decade of inside jokes, hilarious one-liners and a whole bunch of elite 90s-come-Y2K fashion.
The show's resident fashionista, Rachel Green played by the incredible Jennifer Aniston, particularly sported a whole bunch of iconic looks throughout the years.

One of the, arguably, most famous ensembles was the dress she donned during season three's 'The One Where No One's Ready' episode.
The plot of the episode sees Ross Geller (played by David Schwimmer) frantically try to round up his pals for a special event at his museum.
Amidst the chaos, Rachel finds she has nothing to wear causing even more of a meltdown in her boyfriend, before she finally emerges from her room leaving him speechless in a stunning floor-length gown.

Now, anyone who has watched the series the first time around will remember that the dress was a lovely green, however, Max's shiny new 4K restoration depicts the gown in a totally different colour.
Max seemingly acknowledged the difference in an Instagram post showing a side-by-side shot of the HD picture showing the dress to be green, while the 4K revamp showed it to be blue.
Max captioned the post: "As if @jenniferaniston could be any more perfect.

"Always there for you. Celebrate 30 years of #Friends now streaming in 4K on Max. #Friends30."
And it seems die-hard fans of the cult series couldn't wrap their head around the notable differences between Rachel's dress colour.
"Ok what’s the real colour of that dress?" asked one Instagram user.

A second piped up: "Why are you messing with the colour tones?"
"How does 4K change clothing colour though lol," wondered a third, while a fourth chirped: "4k changed the dress colour as well as her hair and skin tone. Why?"
Another queried: "Wait, the dress wasn't green, was my life a lie!"
And a final Instagram user added: "@jenniferaniston what the f*** colour of the dress?????????? I'm begging you for the answer!"

Well, Aniston put all the speculation to rest once and for all after taking to her own Instagram story to share with her 44.8 million followers what the actual colour of the iconic dress really was, per People.
Resharing the Max post, she confirmed: "For the record, the dress was mint green."
There you have it, folks!
