A Harry Potter actor was sadly killed before he had chance to see himself star in the iconic film series.
Many Potterheads are feeling particularly nostalgic over the beloved film franchise, with many looking back at the flicks and the real-life actors, who brought JK Rowling's series of books to life.
Unfortunately, however, there was one Harry Potter actor who was tragically killed before he even had the chance to see himself star in the film after a horrifying attack ended his life.

Described as a 'typical teenager with a great sense of humour', Rob Knox had already starred in the likes of ITV police drama The Bill, Channel 4’s reality show Trust Me, I’m a Teenager and the BBC comedy After You’ve Gone.
However, the movie industry was left extremely shaken back in 2008, when the Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince actor was killed while attempting to protect his younger brother.
In news that shocked both colleagues and co-stars at the time, it was reported that the 18-year-old - who'd played student Marcus Belby in the franchise's sixth movie - had been enjoying a night out in Sidcup, London, when a bar brawl fatally escalated.

After another group of drinkers began antagonising his 17-year-old brother, Rob stepped in to intervene, only to be stabbed to death by 22-year-old Karl Bishop.
As a result, Bishop was subsequently found guilty of the promising young actor's murder and was handed a life term with a minimum 20-year sentence before parole would ever be considered.
"I do not think it is proved that you intended to kill Robert Knox," Mr Justice Bean said at the time.

"The truth is that you simply could not care less whether you killed him or not. Your lack of regret let alone remorse was truly chilling."
Rob's mother, Mrs Knox, said in a statement read to the court at the time: "As a mother and parent, I can never forgive the person responsible for taking my son Robert's life, or the devastation that has been caused by these actions."
She added: "His life was stolen, taken without permission.
"He was taken in the most cruel way possible."

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, which was said to have been Knox's break-out role, was later released posthumously in 2009.
It premiered in July, just a matter of months after Bishop was sentenced to life in prison.
Following his death, ITV commissioned a documentary titled (K)Nox: The Rob Knox Story in 2021, which follows what happened in the lead up to the tragic event, as well as how the family were managing their grief and anger while being in the spotlight.
