Harry Potter fans are just 'realising' which actors are related in real life - and there are some you would never guess.
It's not beyond belief that there could have been some family crossovers whilst recording any film the number of times that Harry Potter did.
After eight in total, it's no wonder than people's family members got roped in along the way, but fans are only just realising exactly how many times that happened.

And in some cases, it wasn't just a family favour - in fact, each had quite a big involvement.
So - who was related to who during the filming of the beloved movies?
Let's take a look...
Ralph Fiennes and Hero Fiennes Tiffin
Ralph, best known for playing Lord Voldemort in the Harry Potter films, is the uncle of Hero, who is now more commonly known for his lead role in the movie series After.

Despite his character being loathed, Ralph actually admitted that he would bring the character back in a heartbeat if he was asked to.
Hero only starred in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince as the young version of Tom Riddle (AKA Voldemort), but has gone onto have a very successful career as an actor and model.
Brendan Gleeson and Domhnall Gleeson
True fans of the films might already know this secret, but Brendan Gleeson who plays Mad Eye Moody is actually the father of Domhnall Gleeson, who played Bill Weasley.

During an episode of The Late Late Show, Domhnall admitted that he was proud of what he and his father had achieved.
He said: "I’m very very proud to be Irish and seeing all these amazing Irish actors and actresses just absolutely, and writers as well, so many amazing Irish books, bands and directors."
Tom Felton and Nigel Anstey (Warner Bros.)
Tom Felton and Nigel Anstey
Whilst this one might have slipped the net for fans due to the very small role that Nigel Anstey had in one of the Harry Potter films, it turns out that he is the grandfather of the infamous Draco Malfoy.

Nigel featured as a nonspeaking guest role in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone as an unidentified Hogwarts employee.
Now that is some real lore for you!
Emma Watson and Alex Watson
This one is slightly more obvious, as the Watson siblings look particularly alike.

One person on Instagram said: "Emma Watson and her brother are twins lol."
And another said: "Emma's brother is Emma in boy version."
Whilst we all know that Harry Potter wouldn't be what it is without Hermoine Granger, her brother Alex played a less-known Gryffindor student.
Emma Thompson and Sophie Thompson
Emma played Sybill Trelawney, whilst Sophie, her sister, portrayed Mafalda Hopkirk.
Both sisters have been successful in the world of acting in their own right, after Sophie won a 1999 Olivier Award for Best Actress in a Musical, and Emma has starred in several hit movies such as Nanny McPhee, Cruella, and Love Actually.
James Phelps and Oliver Phelps
This one is actually ironic, as hardly anyone can believe that these twins are actually twins in real life.
One person in the comments joked: "I heard they met each other at auditions."
Another said: "What do you mean the actors of George and Fred are twins in real life? Didn't they met in the audition?"
