After a drama-filled show - with Reverend Richard Coles accidentally setting his clothes on fire, and Barry McGuigan going missing - things took a sinister turn towards the end.
The 12 campmates were informed by producers via letter that they'd have the change to earn several sweet treats in celebration of Love Island bombshell Maura Higgins' 34th birthday.
The line-up of stars initially hoping this would involve a lighthearted challenge - like a music quiz, or some general knowledge Q&As.
"Predictions... I think we're going to have songs, a little boogie, and a bit of birthday cake," TikTok influencer GK Barry teased.

N-Dubz musician Tulisa then assumed: "They're not going to do something negative for Maura's birthday. It's only going to be a treat."
Minutes, later, they would discover that ITV bosses had something much more terrifying in store, after they were asked to hop on board the 'Fright Bus'.
Reading a laminated card, McFly musician told his co-stars: "Tonight, you will all have the chance to win treats.

"However, to be in with a chance of winning, you will all need to take a trip on The Fright Bus!"
The group were subsequently forced to endure the heart-stopping bus journey by working in threes to contrive a plan to escape, with each stop giving them the chance to secure a piece of luggage.
Naturally, however - in true I'm A Celeb - style, the stars would soon realise they weren't going to be alone on their journey.
"Oh my God, I'm so on edge!" Loose Women's Jane Moore confessed.

"This is the worst birthday I've ever had," Maura then jibed. "If I have a spider on me, I'm going to die."
Hundreds of creepy crawlies were dropped from the ceiling - including colossal spiders - one of which landed on Coronation Street actor Alan Halsall's shoulder.
Seconds, later, viewers were horrified to see the eight-legged giant scurry across the soap star's face, crawling directly over his nose and mouth for a split second.

Resharing a video of the spine-tingling scene on social media, one fan of the jungle reality series admitted: "And at this point my soul would leave my body and I’d die right there in the bus."
Another described the challenge as 'hell on earth', praising Halsall for being able to remain calm for so long.
"That spider was ON Alan’s face like it was a Snapchat filter - the man didn’t even flinch! What an icon!" a third added.
Another viewer continued: "That spider crawling across Alan's face was horrendous omg."
