There's no direct path straight to stardom, but for I'm A Celeb contestant Dean McCullough, his big-name status was achieved in an unusual way.
That's right - despite branding himself on the series as a BBC DJ and media personality, the 32-year-old first shot to fame over a decade prior to his radio gig by appearing on another ITV competition series - something only a handful of viewers remember...

Northern-Irish born Dean has become one of this year's most talked-about I'm A Celebrity camp-mates, having divided viewers over the last week with his controversial on-screen antics.
He started off strong by making a viral 'Wagatha Christie' joke to Coleen Rooney, but quickly went down in viewers' estimations after quitting a stream of Bushtucker Trials just minutes in.
Not only did this leave Ant and Dec admitting they were left 'disappointed' by Dean's lack of effort, but it left viewers begging for a change in the rules when it comes to the public repeatedly voting for one particular contestant.
And things only went from bad to worse when he became embroiled in a heated spat last night with Coronation Street's Alan Halsall over camp chores - a row that viewers took the TV star's side on.

Many have accused Dean of dramatising his personality for the sake of the cameras. And while nowadays he's more often found behind a mic, this isn't the first time he's been on a hit reality TV show.
All the way back in 2013, he and a group of friends formed an all-male dance troupe and appeared on Britain's Got Talent, showing off their skills to judges Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon, Amanda Holden and David Walliams.
Calling themselves The Glambassadors, the appearance saw 20-year-old dance graduate Dean bopping along to judge Alesha's own hit, 'The Boy Does Nothing' - something David described as 'camper than Christmas'.

The panelists came to the unanimous decision to put the boys through - despite them having to change several aspects of the routine after a handful of members dropped out at the last minute.
And oddly enough, the amateur squad made it all the way through to the live semi-finals.
Sadly, though, the Hungarian shadow dance troupe Attraction won the series, robbing The Glambassadors of the chance to dance in front of the late Queen at that year's Royal Variety Show performance.
Following Dean's most recent on-screen appearance, however, only a handful of viewers claimed to gave recognised him for his past work.

And those who didn't were mind-blown to learn all about it.
"Why’s no one brought this up?" one demanded after coming across the video online.
Another noted: "Ant and Dec already meet Dean then!"
"You just know he mentioned this to Ant and Dec when he saw them," a third guessed.
