Comedian Lee Mack comes 'under fire' after he made a crude joke about England star Jill Scott.
Last night, (Tuesday 5 September), marked this year's National Television Awards (NTAs) and celebrities from across the country flocked to London for the highly anticipated affair.
From Rochelle Humes and Holly Willoughby, to Love Island stars Zachariah Noble and Molly Marsh, there were plenty of famous faces scattered across the red carpet.

As the ceremony got into full swing, Mack went on to win the award for Quiz Game Show for The 1% Club, beating Michael McIntyre’s The Wheel, Richard Osman’s House of Games and The Chase Celebrity Special.
Mack, who hosts the show, was joined by his colleagues on stage and was given the award by I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! favourite and footballing legend Scott, who looked stunning in an all-white ensemble.
Holding his award, Mack proceeded to say to the audience: "To receive a sex toy like this off Jill Scott is an absolute pleasure."

His tongue-in-cheek comment has since sparked some controversy, with some even going as far to suggest that the 55-year-old comedian's joke was 'painful'.
One person penned on X after the moment aired on ITV: "Well lee mack is gonna get cancelled now."
"Not sure @LeeMack did himself any favours there. Still a big fan of 100% club," said another.
Someone else went on: "Watching lee mack trying to be funny is just painful."

Others came to Mack's defence, however.
"So, Lee Mack, a comedian, makes a joke about a sex toy to Jill Scott, and now people are calling for him to be cancelled. "Wtaf is going on in the world! Nobody got hurt! Jill Scott laughed, and everyone lived," wrote one person.
"Lee Mack is a Legend #NTAs2023," added another.

A third went on: "Lee mack makes me cry with laughter oh my god."
While Mack is yet to comment on the controversy, The 1% Club's official X page have shared a message and thanked people for their support after the show's win.
It wrote: "Thanks so much to everyone who voted for the show! We really are hugely grateful. Congrats to #leemack and to the team and to all our fantastic contestants! #the1percentclub will be back for a Christmas special and series 3 is on next year. Can't wait for everyone to play again!"
Scott also hasn't commented on the matter and appears to have focused on the fun-side of last night's event on her socials.
