Married At First Sight UK contestant Adam Aveling's behaviour has been the subject of mass criticism since he appeared during the 2024 series' debut last week.
As such, fans were elated last night when another groom put Adam in check after the controversial character went on a rant about his new bride's looks.
Just hours after he and Polly Sellman were paired up by the reality show's resident match-makers, 33-year-old Adam began to make some dubious remarks about what he looks for in a woman.

He initially told viewers during a confessional that the 'initial attraction's not 100 percent there', adding: "She's not my usual type. 10 out of 10 for me would be petite, brunette, dark features, tan."
"She's not what I expected," he added.
MAFS viewers were left subsequently hot-headed after he claimed he could appreciate his new Mrs' 'bubbly personality', after which Polly's best friend Alfie was forced to come to her defence.
And during their honeymoon episode - which aired on Tuesday night (24 September) - a heartbroken Polly was left in floods of tears after Adam began giving her the cold shoulder, despite having been intimate on their wedding night.

Since then, both viewers and the Channel 4 show's experts have been desperately hoping that Adam would change his ways.
And that's exactly what his co-star Nathan did during last night's episode during the group's first ever dinner.
"I've always been like, I meet girls and date girls that I think, 'F**k me, you are peng'. It is hard man," Adam firstly told him during a private conversation.

"I want what you two have got. I want to be like, touchy and all that s**t because I'm an affectionate guy so I feel like I can't give her that yet.
"I need to proper fancy someone before I make that move on them."
Nathan then asked him: "Yeah, but sometimes it has to grow, though, right?"
"She's told me I'm literally like, I'm everything she's asked for," Adam replied. "I've got half of [what I needed]. I've got attraction - they haven't gave me what I normally like, and then everything else is tick, tick, tick, tick."

Nathan then suggested: "In itself, do you not find that attractive or does it have to be physical?"
"A bit yeah," Adam continued. "I do find that attractive, of course, but for me to want to rip someone's clothes off, I've got to look at them and think, 'I want to rip your clothes off'."
It was then that Nathan landed the perfect dig at Adam, 'Would you say you're, like, quite superficial then? Like, you go for the looks?' leaving the recipient baffled.

And by the sounds of things, the confrontation has gone down a treat with viewers, who have since praised Nathan for challenging his cast-mate.
Sharing a clip of the interaction, one X user penned: "Pahahaha - G’warn Nathan."
"‘Would you say you’re quite superficial then?’ Ok, I love Nathan now," another went on.
A third added: "I love how much Adam is getting dragged on here. I hope he's reading and weeping. Him and Caspar give men a bad name, I don't know anyone who would talk about women like that".
Another continued: "Nathan isn’t as dumb as we thought is he? Good on him for questioning Adam."
