After what felt like yonks of waiting, Married at First Sight UK fans were finally able to cosy up and sink their teeth into the eagerly-anticipated reunion episode.
However, MAFS viewers have since been left beyond baffled over several awkward moments during the episode.
Now, while the reunion aired on Channel 4 yesterday (26 February), it was actually filmed months in advance back in November - which meant that a handful of moments were glaringly out of date.
There were two couples highlighted this the most; namely Georges Berthonneau and Peggy Lawrence who, in the episode, seemed totally loved up despite the fact they parted ways earlier this month.

The likes of Shona Manderson and Matt Pilmoor also sparked some confusion as her new relationship with him was teased in the episode, but viewers already knew the pair were together after they made it official on social media months back.
MAFS fans have since flocked to social media to share their verdicts on the episode.
One X (formerly Twitter) user writing: "This #MAFSUK reunion’s come at a weird time cause we all know Shona is with Matt so that wasn’t the twist they wanted it to be, and Peggy was still with George when this filmed but they’ve split now."

A second wrote: "When was this filmed?..cause this is a lil awkward #MAFSUK #MAFSreunion."
"How long ago was this filmed? It doesn’t seem current…" echoed a third.
A fourth chimed in: "Well this is so out of date. Peggy and Georges split up a few weeks ago. This should have been broadcast months ago. It was filmed during the airing of the show."
"Honestly this reunion should’ve been aired months ago, I don’t know why they’ve waited until tonight," a final Twitter user said.

The episode comes after Georges came forward on social media to break his silence on the split after Peggy made the 'unexpected' announcement.
A couple weeks back (14 February), Peggy took to Instagram story to share with her 206k followers a statement following the split.
It began: "I'm so sorry I've been quiet on socials everybody but there's a reason for my silence.

"Me and Georges are no longer together and I'm absolutely heartbroken."
She continued: "It's affected my mental health and it's taken me weeks to come to terms with it but with it being Valentine's Day, I can't pretend to be OK.
"Thank you to everyone who has supported us and our journey... nobody is more upset about it than me x."
Shortly after, Georges took to his own Instagram story where he shared a statement on his own to his 178k followers.

"Wasn't expecting a statement from Peggy regarding this situation," he revealed. "I'm heartbroken by our break-up and also trying to come to terms with life without Peggy."
Georges, 30, finished up the post adding: "I appreciate a lot of you have questions but I won't be talking about this situation as of yet.
"Also thank you for the messages of support," followed by a heart and crying face emoji.
