Bridgerton fans are raving about a ‘must-watch’ spin-off series starring three of this season’s main characters.
Much to the delight of romance fans, the third instalment of Netflix’s Regency series hit the streaming service last week.
This season Penelope Featherington (played by Nicola Coughlan) and Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton) are in the driving seat - playing out their friends-to-lovers arc.

Elsewhere, Eloise Bridgerton (Claudia Jessie) is still in turmoil after finding out who Lady Whistledown really is, while Francesca Bridgerton (Hannah Dodd) is stepping out for her first season with the ton.
This year, the streaming service has elected to break the mould and follow in the footsteps of Stranger Things season four.
Thus, Bridgerton has been split into two parts; with the first instalment being available to feast upon now.

However, keen viewers have to wait until June 13 to binge the second part of Bridgerton series three.
As there is a mammoth four-week gap between releases, many have found themselves at a loose end after finishing part one.
But don’t fret, as there’s a swoon-worthy spin-off TV series you can sink your teeth into in the meantime.

Last year, Shondaland’s prequel project Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story debuted on the platform.
Loosely based on the 18th-century rise of Charlotte of Mecklenburg-Strelitz, the limited show serves as an insight into the former monarch’s relationship with her husband, King George.

The present sees Queen Charlotte (Golda Rosheuvel) dealing with the death of the royal heir Princess Charlotte; the other documents the meeting and marriage of young Charlotte (India Amarteifio) and King George (Corey Mylchreest).
Meanwhile, Queen Charlotte also works to chronicle fan-favourite character Lady Danbury’s fight to power (Arsema Thomas) and also features glimpses at the young Bridgerton matriarch, Violet (Connie Jenkins-Greig).
Following its resurgence in popularity, fans have recently come out in their droves to praise Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story.

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one viewer wrote: “Queen Charlotte is so underrated.”
A second typed: “Queen Charlotte was the best of them all so far! I didn’t fully watch S2 as it didn’t keep my attention. S3 is kind of slow like 1, but …. I’m still invested in Penelope’s story. So I’m watching.”
“Hate season one - adore season two - also adore Queen Charlotte you must watch it - unsure about how I feel on season three so far,” said another. “To me Colin has very little sex appeal.”
A fourth commented: “A year later and Queen Charlotte is in the Netflix Top 10 in the USA.”
