The nation’s hearts were collectively broken after the tragic loss of Hairy Bikers star, Dave Myers, following his death last month.
66-year-old Dave had been battling cancer for two years prior to his death.
Whilst Dave was open about his cancer diagnosed, he opted to keep the specific type of cancer private, in order to stop people speculating about his outcome.

“I don’t want newspapers to run a lottery on how long I’ve got to live. That’s not what I want. I felt so guilty because of the effects it’s having on my wife”, he said at the time.
Following his passing, his wife, Liliana Orzac, and Hairy Bikers co-star Si King led the emotional tributes on the Hairy Bikers official Instagram.
Liliana said: "I feel I’m grieving with a whole nation… and this is something special. My wonderful Dave."

Dave replies: “We have, and it’s been tough at times.”
Dave then opens up about his battle with cancer and addresses the camera: “I had chemotherapy all the time we’ve been filming. It hasn’t been easy… (but) we’ve got there, and it’s just a wonderful feeling."

"It’s quite remarkable, what he’s done.”
Dave manages to give an update on his health before the cameras stop rolling on the last episode.
He poignantly remarks: “Who knows what the future holds? But for the moment, I’m living in the present and it’s pretty fine, I tell you."
Dave then kisses Si on the cheek and says ‘I love ya’.
The episode ends with a note of remembrance for Dave that reads: “In loving memory of our friend Dave Myers. 1957-2024."
