It's just been a little over a week now since Sinners first hit cinemas and it's clear the hype isn't going away anytime soon.
The horror-adventure flick, which boasts a star-studded cast including the likes of Michael B. Jordan, Hailee Steinfeld and Jack O'Connell, came out earlier this month (18 April) and has since received an avalanche of critical acclaim, including a near-perfect 98 per cent score on Rotten Tomatoes.
Now, without giving too much away for those who have yet to head to the cinema and watch it, the story follows two twin brothers, Elijah 'Smoke' and Elias 'Stack' Moore (both played by Jordan), who try to leave their troubled lives behind and return to their Mississippi hometown to start again.

However, they soon discover that an even greater evil is waiting to welcome them back.

Amidst the rave reviews cropping up all over social media is one warning which cinema-goers are sharing for anyone yet to watch Sinners on the silver screen.

Namely, not to get up and leave too quickly once the film's end credits roll.
"I feel so sorry for the people who walked out of Sinners the moment the credits hit," lamented one X user. "They have no idea what they missed."

A second declared: "WHEN YOU SEE SINNERS AT THE MOVIES THIS WEEKEND STAY FOR THE END CREDITS!!! DO NOT LEAVE RIGHT AWAY!!!"

A third shared a picture of their screening, with the caption reading: "Was watching sinners and when everyone was getting up right when the first end credit scene appeared - they all stopped dead in their tracks."
Even Hollywood A-lister Tom Cruise warned: "Congratulations Ryan, Michael, and to the entire cast and crew. Must see in a cinema and stay through the end credits!"
So, what's all the fuss about the end credits?

Well, if you must know, there are not one but two post-credit scenes, which are absolutely crucial for understanding the full story.
The first scene picks up 60 years after the events of the main narrative - making for a fantastic vehicle in which to resolve some major plot points from the film, while the second one is a bit shorter but adds a nice layer to the conclusion of one of the main character's stories.
So, while it may be tempting to beat the post-film rush and make for the doors as soon as the credits roll, it's probably best you hang on a little longer so you can get the full experience the way the directors would have intended it.
Sinners is currently available to watch in selected cinemas across the UK.
