It's time for a good 'ol dose of nostalgia as it's been confirmed that Margot Robbie is set to produce a brand new movie based on The Sims.
The social simulation game was first released back in 2000 and has since sold nearly 200 million copies worldwide.
Most of us will remember rushing home from school and logging straight onto the computer to spend the next eight hours controlling the lives of our animated characters.

Whether they were at university, having affairs with the neighbours or buying lavish furniture (thanks, rosebud cheat code) the game was seriously addictive.
Some people have even created their favourite TV shows over on the platform, like recreating psycho serial killer Joe from hit Netflix series You, or the entire cast of Tiger King.
Now, there's going to be a movie based on the game - and considering the success of Robbie's Barbie, we're expecting big things.

Gaming company Electronic Arts (EA) announced the news, explaining it would be working with Amazon MGM Studios on the movie.
It has also confirmed that Robbie's production company, LuckyChap, will be at the helm, as well as director Kate Herron, who is the mastermind behind Sex Education.
Meanwhile, Briony Redman will co-write the script for the film, which is set to coincide with the 25th anniversary of the game.

Robbie's production company is also working on a Monopoly movie, with the actor telling Variety earlier this year: "We want to make more films that have the effect that Barbie has.
"Why can't it be another big, original, bold idea where we get an amazing filmmaker, a big budget to play with, and the trust of a huge conglomerate behind them to go and really play? I want to do that."
People are overjoyed at the thought of a Sims movie, with one writing on X: "They better include all iconic sims!"

While another said: "Can't wait to see Sims characters walking into walls and setting kitchens on fire in real life! This should be an entertaining ride."
And a third added: "If they don't speak Simlish the whole time, I DONT WANT IT!"
Meanwhile, a fourth said: "Excited to hear about The Sims movie adaptation! With Margot Robbie’s LuckyChap producing and Kate Herron directing, this is bound to be a unique and fun ride. Can’t wait to see how they bring the iconic game to life on the big screen!"
It's not clear when the movie will be released, or who will star, but we'll let you know when we hear more details.
