Warning: This articles contains spoilers for The Traitors

Minah from The Traitors has revealed she was lying to viewers about one key detail for the entire series.

Now, we were all absolutely gutted when Minah was sadly banished from the castle following a very tense roundtable earlier this week - especially after she'd come so far as one of the three original Traitors alongside Armani and the iconic Linda who were both booted out episodes back.

As we know, the beloved BBC series is all about deceit - but it's not usually the audiences who are the ones with the wool pulled over their eyes!

After leaving The Traitors following recruited Traitor, Charlotte, throwing her under the bus, Minah opened up about not actually being a Scouser.

Speaking to BBC News, the reality TV star began with a smile: "No, you don't even know the half of it. Is this about to be an exclusive?"

Interviewer Eleanor Doyle then assured: "Go on, you don't have to tell me."

"No, I think I should..." Minah continued before dropping the bombshell: "I say I'm from Liverpool because my friends say I'm an adopted Scouser. But I'm actually not from Liverpool.

"But I'm not having anyone say I'm not!"

Eleanor then asked where Minah 'went to school' before she explained: "Gosh, I've gone to school in Uganda, I've gone to school in Glasgow, I've gone to school at Birmingham."

"You're lying!" the interviewer exclaimed before the season three favourite added: "Liverpool's the longest place I've ever lived in.

"I can't believe you're the first person I've told that!"

And talking of plot twists, Charlotte, who hails from London, previously told fans of the show that she's famed for her 'terrible poker face', and as such, she's decided to rely on something else to con her cast-mates - her accent.

Despite being London born and bred and recently moving to Hampshire, she opted to put on a fake Welsh accent in the hope of throwing her co-stars off her scent.

And given that she's the last remaining Traitor in the gang after recruiting former Faithful Freddie to the dark side before his departure (23 January), the plan has clearly paid off.

Claudia Winkleman and her ever-growing collection of thick-knit jumpers is ready for the 12th and the final episode of The Traitors which will be shown on BBC1 from 8.30pm later this evening (24 January).

Alongside Charlotte, just three more contestants remain; Faithfuls Alexander, Francesca, Jake Brown and Leanne Quigley.

We're all very excited to see how it all pans out!
