You'd think that celebrities would be aware by now what they should and should not be saying on live television.
With social media users understandably quick to call out bad behaviour or derogatory comments, big-name stars should be watching their every word to avoid being 'cancelled'.
And this week, This Morning fan-favourite Alison Hammond has received high praise from viewers for brutally shutting down Sir Cliff Richard following some comments he made on the live show.

The 83-year-old 'Mistletoe and Wine' singer divided opinion when it comes to discussing weight gain while appearing as a guest on the daytime ITV show.
Recalling the moment he was invited to meet fellow hitmaker Elvis Presley, Cliff admitted he declined the opportunity to have a photograph taken with 'The King'.
"At the end of the interview, I said, 'Can we put it off?'," he told hosts Alison, Dermot O'Leary and guest presenter Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York. "Because, he'd put on a lot of weight."

He went on: "And I thought, if I'm having a photograph taken with him, and it's going to be hanging on my refrigerator, he's got to look good.
"And I put it off, and then, of course, he died."
Alison then replied: "Should never have put it off just because they're a little bit heavier."
Cliff seemingly attempted to redeem himself, adding: "If you're a fan of somebody's, if you get the chance to meet them, meet them, even if they've put on weight."

"Is that why you don't want me at your house?" Alison then hit back, before candidly adding: "Anyway..."
And the Bake Off host has since received heaps of praise online for hitting back at Cliff's body shaming remarks.
Taking to X - formerly known as Twitter - one user wrote: "Alison Hammond handled this so well. Have never for a second liked Cliff Richard. We all have a 'national treasure' we have no time for, this guy has always been mine."

Re-sharing a clip of the confrontation, another added: "Good on Alison Hammond subtly having a dig back at Cliff Richard here."
A third joked: "The Nobel prize for Peace goes to Alison Hammond for not punching the s**t out of Cliff Richard."
Someone else penned: "Alison handled that perfectly."
And a final user commented: "I don't think Sir Cliff Richard is on Alison Hammonds Christmas card list after that interview."
