Being an NFL star just wasn't enough for Chiefs tightend Travis Kelce, as he seems to have set his sights on becoming an actor - though some family members won't be tuning in.
34-year-old Travis is set to shock fans when appearing on screens with no football pitch in sight.
Travis is due to make his acting debut in Grotesquerie, a series from Ryan Murphy - the man behind the controversial Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story, currently streaming on Netflix.
Grotesquerie, which premiered yesterday (25 September), is a horror drama revolving around Detective Lois Tryon (Niecy Nash), who works closely with local nun Sister Megan (Micaela Diamond) in an attempt to discover who is behind devastating crimes that are affecting the local community and their personal lives.

The character portrayed by Travis is yet to be revealed as no scenes featuring the sportsman have aired yet.
Travis' brother, Jason, a former professional football player, reacted to the first episode on X, and later revealed his kids - Travis' nieces - won't be tuning in.
After watching scenes that showed an elusive murderer boiling a baby, Jason posted: "If Travis boiled a baby, I'm gonna be real p***** #Grotesquerie."
Hopefully not.

During an episode of New Heights, a podcast which the brothers co-host, Jason asked Travis: "Are you the bad guy? Are you the killer?"
He responded: "Can't tell you. You're going to have to watch this, Jason. Make sure you have the girls watch this. They're going to love this show."
Travis' nieces are Wyatt, Elliott and Bennett, who Jason shares with his wife, Kylie Kelce.

Jason then added: "Listen, Kylie will murder me."
He continued: "I am going to have the girls, and then the moment there's — is there like a warning or is there a lot of surprises?" the former Eagles player asks.
An alarmed Travis then added: "Dude, that was completely a joke. Do not let the girls watch this show.

"I don't even know if they'll understand the show. It's very advanced. I think it's too advanced for toddlers."
Deadline reports that during a press conference, Ryan Murphy explained:
"[Kelce] said he was interested in getting into acting…it ended with me saying, ‘Okay, well, I’ll keep you in mind, and maybe we’ll come up with something.’ And he said, ‘No, I want to do it now. I have three months now, and I really would love to have anything.'”
He added: “He really was amazing. He worked with an acting coach for several months. He showed up off book. He knew everybody’s lines. He was so professional. He was so committed. He kept saying to me, ‘I’m real coachable. Coach me, coach me.’ So I did, and he ended up being a delight, and I would love to continue working with him on this and other things. I cannot say enough about him as a leader. He’s just the kindest, sweetest…everything you think about him is true.”
