All the Baba Vanga predictions that actually came true as chilling prophecy for 2025 is revealed

She correctly predicted 9/11 and Obama's presidency.

Blind mystic Baba Vanga made a name for herself for predicting some nefarious events of the last few decades.

Apparently gifted with seeing into the future, the Bulgarian woman (real name: Vangeliya Pandeva Gushterova) has been hailed as the 20th century's answer to Nostradamus.

While most of her prophecies are hard to verify, there are some eerie connections to real-life events that will have even some skeptics do a double take.

As usual with mystic predictions, we’re dealing with some pretty devastating occurrences.

While she did guess that a Black man would become US President well before Barack Obama’s campaign, Baba Vanga also predicted Donald Trump’s rise to political power. Before that, she was able to sense Princess Diana’s death and 9/11.

Luckily, some of her predictions failed to turn true — namely a new, deadly virus bringing about another pandemic in Siberia — while some people disputed the accuracy of some others, including the exact date of Stalin’s death.

Baba Vanga’s influence in popular culture has continued well beyond her death in 1996. As her predictions for 2025 are not particularly reassuring (think about kickstarting the end of the world), let’s have a look at some events the prophetess had gotten right in the last few years.

Princess Diana’s death

According to some of Baba Vanga’s followers, she was able to predict Princess Diana’s car accident that claimed her life, as well as those of her partner Dodi Fayed and their driver Henri Paul in the Pont de l'Alma tunnel in Paris on August 31, 1997.

9/11

One of her most popular predictions is that of the terror attack to the World Trade Center in New York City.

In 1989, the mystic reportedly said: "Horror, horror! The American brethren will fall after being attacked by the steel birds. The wolves will be howling in a bush, and innocent blood will be gushing.”

It is thought that the 'American brethren' refers to the Twin Towers, while the 'steel birds' could be the hijacked planes.

Some have highlighted the chilling use of the word 'bush,' a possible reference to then-US president, George W Bush.

Indira Gandhi’s assassination

Baba Vanga predicted that the Prime Minister of India, Indira Gandhi, would die in 'smoke and fire’.

Gandhi was gunned down by two of her Sikh bodyguards on October 31, 1984, in what was believed to be an act of revenge for ordering a military attack on the Golden Temple, a Sikhism holy site.

In 1969, Baba Vanga went so far as predicting what Gandhi would wear the day of her death.

"The dress will destroy her. I see an orange-yellow dress in the smoke and fire,” she reportedly foretold.

On the day of her death, Gandhi was indeed wearing a saffron-hued saree.

Barack Obama’s presidency and Donald Trump’s rise

Baba Vanga sensed that a Black man would become the 44th POTUS, though she also predicted Trump as Obama’s successor.

As per an undated statement, Baba Vanga said: ”Everyone will put their hopes in him [Trump?] to end it, but the opposite will happen. He will bring the country down and conflicts between north and south states will escalate.”

2022 droughts and floods

Not surprising given that climate change is looming over us all, but it seems that Baba Vanga did predict that 2022 would be a particularly nasty year for floods and draughts.

Some countries, including the UK, experienced especially dry months, with the government officially declaring a drought on 12th August 2022.

Similar weather conditions were recorded throughout Europe.

Baba Vanga also guessed that Australia and Asia would be rocked by floods, a prediction that turned out to be true in both continents.
