One bride-to-be decided to have a dramatic haircut on the morning of her wedding, much to her groom's surprise.
We all know a lot of prep goes into planning a wedding, from the dress to the decorations, to the mid-morning hair chop.
Okay, maybe not the last one, but it is a surefire way to make your wedding memorable — you can check out the transformation below:
The bride tasked wedding photographer Sally Grieshaber with capturing the whole transformation.

The TikToker even shared the moment she was let in on the bride's brilliant plan, saying that she was 'so stoked when the bride brought it up in the timeline meeting.'
For those not familiar, a timeline meeting is a play-by-play of how your big day will unfold, from hair and make-up to the speeches.
So, when Sally was told that she could document the choppy bob haircut, she was thrilled.
And, sharing the results on TikTok, she captioned the video: "The bride decided to dramatically cut her hair between the ceremony & reception on her wedding day."

The video focused in on the brave bride as a massive length of her hair was cut off and it's safe to say the new look suited her perfectly.
Sally then cut together clips of the bride with her groom, who seems to love the new style.
And the husband wasn't the only one who was happy with the result, with a trove of well-wishers sharing their thoughts on TikTok.

One user said that the cut suited her well: "The short hair looks absolutely stunning on her!!!"
A second said: "This is the most QUEEN ENERGY I’ve ever seen and I’m here for it."
A fellow wedding photographer loved the idea of tracing the bride's transformation and said: "I’m a wedding photographer and this is incredible! I love this!"

To which Sally agreed, saying: "right?!?! I was so stoked when she brought it up in the timeline meeting!"
One was worried about the logistics of doing a big haircut on the big day: "I love this trend, but how do you entertain your guests waiting? And for how long? Thought to do it for mine but we aren't doing a cocktail hour."
But, turns out that the whole thing doesn't take long at all, with Sally adding: "We did it during their cocktail hour & it took about 30-40 minutes!!"
And, honestly, it's made me want to do something dramatic with my hair, though a choppy bob would probably look less chic and more Lord Farquaad on me.
