A woman has been hailed a ‘genius’ for using glue to make her windows more private, having posting the incredible DIY hack online.
Many of us don’t exactly get as much privacy as we’d like at home, given that few people can afford to live in sprawling mansions set in acres of land away from civilisation.
Nope, most average Joes find themselves stuck in apartment blocks or terraced houses, where we can often hear a lot of what our neighbours are up to through the walls... we’ll let you fill in the gaps of what we mean there.

A lot of homes are also overlooked, too, especially with anyone living in the city centre, where flats are usually piled up on top of one another.
But one woman has shared the PERFECT hack to keep out any prying eyes, and all you’ll need is one simple – and cheap – household product.
TikToker @hellyangel posted a nifty trick online and soon went viral, racking up more than five million likes and a whopping 65 million views.

She created a makeshift ‘window film’ out of glue, having grabbed some simple PVA glue and applied it to her window with a paint roller.
"TikTok made me do it." she says in the video.
Not only does it look good, it’s also completely reversible – when you need to take it off, you simply peel away, which looks like possibly the most satisfying thing we’ve ever seen.

@hellyangel later decided to put another coat on to make the film thicker, hoping this would help her peel it off in one swift motion.
In the end, she tried another method that involved putting tape over the dried glue and peeling it off slowly, which seemed to be most effective.
And many fellow TikTokers were hugely impressed, with some saying they’d already tried it out for themselves and been more than happy with the results.
“Can I just say I think this was a genius!” one commented.

Someone else said: “That would be so satisfying to peel.”
Others even came forward with further suggestions, with one saying: “I wanna do this with glitter glue. I think it would be so cute.”
Another agreed: “PUT GLITTER ON IT IT WILL LOOK NICEE.”
However, one sceptic pointed out: "U have a DIY window but the smell."

Perhaps a fair point...
