If you're looking for an easy way to make your house smell amazing this winter, we've got the ultimate trick.

One woman on TikTok has come up with a genius way of cleaning her radiators - and not only have they been left sparkling, but they've even made her home smell like a Jo Malone candle. See the hack for yourself below:

Many of us struggle with keeping our homes smelling fresh in the winter months.

If this is you, TikToker @mylittlewiltshirecottage has a pretty handy tip.

All you need is a bottle of fabric conditioner - the TikToker uses Marks and Spencer sandalwood and rose - a tray, a towel and a sponge.

First off, you'll need to remove the top grill panel from your radiator, before mixing a capful of the fabric conditioner with water.

Once it's mixed into a solution, use a sponge to give your radiator a good scrubbing.

"This smells amazing," the TikToker writes. "So similar to the Jo Malone candle."

Next up, take your towel and place it underneath the radiator and over the top of the skirting board - this is to protect your floor from water.

Then, place a tray or deep bowl over the top of the towel to catch the water you'll be using to clean the inside of the rad.

@mylittlewiltshirecottage then advises taking another capful of conditioner and mixing with hot water.

"Put a capful of the fabric conditioner [and] fill the jug with very hot water," they explain.

You can then get started pouring the solution into the radiator, catching the water with the tray underneath.

And if your rad is as dirty as @mylittlewiltshirecottage's, you'll probably notice heaps of grime washing away.

"All the dust/dirt gets flushed through," they wrote. "I find you get more dust/dirt out the faster you pour."

Gross, but satisfying!

The trick could even save you a few pennies, with the scent thought to be similar to Jo Malone’s Velvet Rose and Oud candle, priced from £70.

As a much cheaper alternative, the M&S fabric conditioner is just £3.70 a bottle.

The hack could even make your home more efficient, as according to Trade Radiators: "Cleaning radiators not only enhances their appearance but also significantly improves heating efficiency.

"By removing accumulated dirt, dust and grime, you can ensure that your heating system operates at its best, providing consistent warmth in every room."

This is a total win-win!
