In a video, stay-at-home mum Shauna explained that all you need is some washing up liquid, which gets poured down the toilet.
Once you’ve let it sit for a few minutes, you simply flush it away.
She said: “I leave the washing up liquid for 30 seconds to a minute which gives it time to lubricate the pan so it easily removes the blockages.

“I was really happy it worked. Being a mum, I am always trying to find ways to clean without using many chemicals or making a big mess.
"If I use a plunger, I never know where to keep it after and I don't want to deal with the dirty water after."
Many people were impressed by the video – even including a professional drainer, who commented: “I’ve been a drainage man for 18 years and I’m only just hearing about this.”

Shauna knows how hard it is to keep on top of the housework while also juggling motherhood.
She added: “I have a set of chores that I do every day, washing clothes, cleaning surfaces, dust. I keep my daily routine easy and simple.
“Organisation is key with kids. Start with one cupboard and a couple days after do the other, soon you will have everything organised and, in its place.
“An organised house is possible, even if young kids don't let it happen every time (…) it makes it easier to keep your house clean.”

Shauna has also shared a hack to keep her four-year-old Caprice’s toys organised, having come up with yet another cost-effective solution.
The mum keeps things tidy by using drawstring bags to group the different objects.
She explained: “You can find these bags around food and veg, they cost like 20p a bag. It’s a fantastic way to organise and transport toys.

“If you’re ever in a rush you can just pick up a bag and take it with you anywhere and it’s easy to organise and put away.”
She also shared a simple way of cleaning blinds.
“You can use really cheap fluffy socks to clean your blinds," she said.
"All you need to do is put them in a cleaning solution and it will pick up all the dirt and dust from the blind.
“It is one of the best hacks to clean blinds, it gets everything off."
