A mum who has grown tired of 'relentlessly' buying school shoes has been raving about a bargain pair she's discovered.
Jess, known as @mother_motherhood on TikTok, took the video sharing platform to voice her frustrations about having to buy expensive new school shoes all the time.
She'd purchased a pair of Kickers - which (from the looks of her video) are a pair of Fragmas that retail at £65 - and wasn't overly pleased that by half term, her son's school shoes were already looking pretty battered.
Showing that the front of the shoe was coming off, Jess fumed: "I bought these for Isaiah in September and I said to him the other day, 'What's wrong with your shoes? Why do they look like that?'"

According to her son, the shoes 'aren't designed for running', which is why they ended up in such a state so soon.
Noting that they're not the cheapest of shoes, Jess told her son that he wasn't allowed another pair of Kickers, so he asked for a pair of Adidas shoes instead.
"Every boy mum should just be buying these," Jess raved in light of purchasing a pair for her son.
"They're £30, that's with delivery from the Adidas website."

For no extra cost, you can also get a name written on the side of the shoe.
She continued: "They're the ones. I don't mind spending £30 on a pair of these every few months if I need to."
Jess went on to label the trainers as a 'game-changer' for her as the shoes are 'really good value for money'.
While she didn't name the style of shoe, according to other parents in the comments section of her TikTok, the trainers are Tensaur sports shoes from the brand.

"£23 in sports direct my kids have worn them for the last three years they're the best," said another mum of the trainers.
"My son has had these every year since year 2 and now year 6 they last so much better than school shoes I haven't had to buy during school year," said someone else.
A third went on to quip: "Yep!!!! They’re the best find. Now I need trousers that can deal with knee slides."

Elsewhere, in the wake of dozens of schools clamping down on its uniforms - shoes in particular - other parents expressed concerns that their kids wouldn't be able to wear the Adidas kicks as they're trainers rather than shoes.
Someone commented: "Teacher here. I would be the one ringing you up saying they aren’t acceptable."
"My sons school will say they are trainers," feared another.
With this in mind, if you plan on grabbing a pair for your kids, maybe triple check your children's school uniform policy so you don't end up out of pocket.
