Birthdays are a time of celebrating with your family and friends, getting treated like the most important person in the world and, especially as a child, being spoiled with gifts you’ve begged for.
And some kids know more than most about just exactly what they want for their birthday, like this 11-year-old who gave her mum a long list of over AU $10,000 (£5,200) worth of stuff.
Sydney PR queen Roxy Jacenko - who is know for splashing her cash - shared the list to her Instagram story while holidaying on a yacht in Greece.

She joked: “Pixie Curtis was quiet – it’s clear why,” alongside the three pages of shoes and clothes her daughter is hoping to get for her 12th birthday.
Her daughter’s list contains some very pricey items from designer trainers to hoodies and sweatshirts.
Written by hand, Pixie is hoping for some Yeezy foam runners (£62), Off-White x Dunk Low (£140) and Air Jordan 4 Retro Black Cat (£150) among 13 other pairs of shoes.

With a taste for the designer lifestyle, she’s also asked her mum for a Yves Saint Laurent sweatshirt (£700 plus), an Alexander McQueen hoodie (£570) and an Alexander McQueen T-shirt (£320).
The pre-teen, who had a nightclub theme for her eleventh birthday, is wishing for a list of things worth well over AU $10,000 with even her cheapest items still over £100.
This probably didn’t come as a shock to Roxy though, as her daughter asked for even more in her Christmas list last year.
In November 2022, Pixie gave her mum a list of ‘expensive’ and ‘mid/cheap’ items which included designer bags that are so expensive you have to contact the designer for a price.

As well as that, she was hoping for ‘any’ Yeezy trainers, Skims tank tops and pricey bikini sets.
Roxy and her family (including husband Oliver Curtis and son Hunter, eight) recently relocated from Australia to Singapore.
Back when the mum shared the Christmas list to Instagram, followers called Pixie a ‘spoiled brat’ whilst others joked along with her mum.

One wrote: “Expensive taste that’s for sure!! Like mother, like daughter.”
Roxy did speak out to defend both her daughter Pixie and the sharing of the Christmas list post.
Speaking to News.com.au, she said: "Clothes and swimwear. Hardly unreasonable for a tween.
“Ask any parent of a young lady of this age, you’ll find the list is somewhat the same.
