So, to help with the process, one sexpert has explained exactly what a 'stacked orgasm' is alongside all the other tips and tricks surrounding the boudoir phenomenon taking people by storm.
What is a 'stacked orgasm'?
Sex therapist, Melissa Cook at Sofia Gray & FunWithFeet, tells us that a stacked orgasm is 'when someone experiences multiple orgasms in quick succession, without any gaps in between each one'.

"This is different to a regular orgasm which is where someone reaches climax and then has a period of downtime, and even multiple orgasms which are typically experienced with gaps in between each one," she explained.
So, in short, when someone experiences a stacked orgasm, they are experiencing several climaxes without a break.
How to achieve a 'stacked orgasm'?
Now, it's important to note that stacked orgasms are personal to every individual.

However, with that said, 'consistent and sustained stimulation' that is continued throughout the first orgasm is 'one of the best ways; to achieve a stacked orgasm'.
Melissa tells Tyla: "Stimulation shouldn’t wane, and some common techniques to achieve a stacked orgasm include a rhythmic pace that doesn’t reduce or a pace that gets more intense as the orgasm does.
"Again, while the best position will depend on your individual preferences and desires, G-spot and clitoral stimulation can allow for continuous orgasms.
"This includes positions such as missionary with a pelvic tilt or even woman-on-top positions."

Can you achieve a 'stacked orgasm' alone?
If you've not got a partner, or fancy some solo-play, then do not worry as you can most definitely still experience a stacked orgasm during masturbation.

The sexpert says the best way to do this is to use a sex toy or vibrator that offers 'intense and continuous stimulation'.
According to Melissa, toys that have different settings and patterns can enhance the stimulation and also mimic real-life situations with a partner.
"This also means that you’re more likely to be able to achieve consistent arousal without overstimulation," she adds.
Stacked orgasms can also be achieved without a toy, Melissa notes before highlighting: "Just be sure to keep the pace of your self-stimulation to maintain arousal and keep going through the orgasm"
How many back-to-back 'stacked orgasms' do women have on average?
OK, so we know what they are, how to have one and that we can, in fact, have one alone, what are the actual numbers when it comes to stacked orgasms?
AKA - how many orgasms can you have in a row?
Melissa explains to us that this, again, depends entirely on the individual as well as their arousal and personal sensitivity.
"Some women may experience several orgasms one after the other, while others might only experience a couple," she says.
She also urged: "If you only achieve a couple of orgasms the first time you try, don’t be disheartened and instead try to maintain arousal at a gentler pace throughout your first orgasm next time.
"The extent of the continuous stimulation has a huge role to play in the stacked orgasm experience."
What are the benefits of a 'stacked orgasm'?
"Stacked orgasms, and indeed any orgasm, are great for physical and mental health," Melissa notes.
Orgasms release endorphins around the body, which is the body’s natural 'feel-good chemical', and can improve circulation and make you feel more relaxed.
Not only that, but orgasming also does wonders for self-esteem, confidence and body positivity, 'which are great for our sex life - both with a partner and solo'.
"When experienced with a partner, it can enhance intimate, personal and emotional connections which are essential for a fulfilling sex life," Melissa adds. "This is all great for overall well-being."
What actually happens to the body when you have a 'stacked orgasm'?
Melissa tells us that, during a stacked orgasm, the body releases dopamine and oxytocin, which in turn lead to feelings of pleasure, euphoria and relaxation.
Getting into the biology of it all, there are also repeated contractions in the pelvic floor muscles as well as increased blood flow to the genital area.
"This causes a heightened sensitivity and more intense reaction," the expert carries on.
"Together, this physical and psychological reaction leads to increased sexual pleasure, which when maintained through ongoing stimulation, results in a more intense final climax and orgasm."
How can a 'stacked orgasm' improve your sex life?
Melissa explains: "Adding anything new into your sex life can be exciting and add a little variety into your personal life."
Doing so can 'do wonders' for how you feel, as well as your emotional connection with another person.
"It’s also a great way to explore new desires and preferences and your body, which again does wonders for self confidence, body positivity and sexual encounters," she notes.
Can men achieve 'stacked orgasms'?
The beauty of a stacked orgasm isn't just reserved for women as blokes can also experience them too.
"While it is a little less common, there’s nothing to stop a man from experiencing a stacked orgasm," Melissa confirms.
She continues: "To achieve one, the best technique is to reduce stimulation a little just before ejaculation to prevent it from happening, before building it up again.
"This does require a huge amount of control and is most commonly practised in tantric sex."
Are there any other different orgasms women should know about?
If the whole idea of stacked orgasms was news to you, then you may be eager to find out if there's any other types you should be aware of.
There are 'lots of different types of orgasm' including clitoral, anal and vaginal blended, which is both clitoral and G-spot stimulation.
Melissa says: "Each of these offer different sensations and reactions and require different stimulation.
"However, by exploring your body, preferences, sensitivities and sensations you can find one that best suits you and enhance your overall sexual experience."
