Whether you like to think of yourself as a spiritual believer or are proud to be a hard-faced skeptic, there's one thing you should be able to agree on - there's nothing more interesting that a good ol' debate about the prospect of the other-worldly.

The existence of life after death, the possibility that ghosts walk among us, or that we'll all be reincarnated as butterflies one day - all riveting topics to thrash out during a late-night discussion.

And usually found near the top of the list of controversial conversations in this area is whether or not we can rely on self-professed skeptics to predict the future of our world.

While those against the idea might brand these alleged psychics 'fraudsters' - with many modern day mystics only dosing out predictions in exchange for a fee - one women that's pretty hard to argue with is a Bulgarian prophet known as Baba Vanga.

And no, that's not just because she's been dead for the last 26 years...

The 84-year-old woman who during her lifetime left many of her followers staggered by her globally-renowned, terrifyingly accurate predictions had been blind since her early childhood.

Despite her ailment, however, she was famed for her ability to predict a range of wild events throughout history, and even after she'd died.

In fact, her predictions have been so bang on that Soviet leaders reportedly even sought her counsel following the world wars of the 20th century.

She previously predicted that large cities around the world would be hit by large-scale droughts and water shortages, and in 2022, the UK suffered the driest July since 1935.

And back in 1989, she even foresaw the 9/11 terrorist attack.

Naturally, therefore, it's no surprise that when it comes to the possibility of our planet one day facing its armageddon, that Baba Vanga's eerily accurate predictions are often consulted, even by the most astute of theologians.

So, what does the late mystic have to say about the end of the world?

Erm... well. Apparently, not much...

It's true. We don't have anything to worry about with regard to the human race's ultimate demise - at least, not for the time-being.

That's because Vanga has seemingly estimated that the world will end in 5079, which marks the year when her predictions suddenly stop...

Anyone else got chills? Me too, hun.
