A woman has gone viral on social media after sharing the unexpected note she received at the airport while waiting for a flight.
23-year-old Steph Bohrer is an influencer who's known for sharing travel and lifestyle content with her one million followers on TikTok.
On Wednesday (5 March), she shared a brief clip to the platform that showed a message she'd received while traveling.

Text across the video, which has been viewed more than 18 million times, reads: "I'm sitting at the airport and a pilot just placed this on my table and walked away."
The video shows a brown paper napkin on a table next to a bottle of water, while Taylor Swift's 'Enchanted' plays in the background.
The handwritten note on it says: "I have seen the whole world and you are the most beautiful human in it."

While the note seems like something out of a rom-com, reactions to it were mixed.
Writing in comments below the video, one person said: "Girl marry him."
Another wrote: "It's giving a Wattpad love story."

But others were far more skeptical.
"Coming from a flight attendant and ex-pilot wife, he's married and he uses that line every day," commented one user.
Another agreed, writing: "As a former flight attendant, you're probably not the first to receive the same napkin that week."
And a third said: "I feel like he just carries a stack of these in his pocket."

After the TikTok video blew up, Steph posted a follow-up sharing more details about what actually happened.
"I'm the person who received this note on a napkin from a pilot at the airport.
"I was sitting in the Atlanta airport eating an egg and cheese sandwich with my friend Maya and [the note] was placed in front of me, I read it and that's all that happened.

"I didn't even see this man's face. I saw him walk away and he was wearing a pilot's outfit but he was not the pilot of my plane."
She then points to Maya, who is also in the video, as she managed to get a better glimpse of the man.
"He's short, blond hair. Saw his face for maybe a split second," Maya recalls. "He placed it down, walked away. No ring. Nothing."
Steph continues: "It was just a nice gesture. He was just giving me a compliment. I don't even know his name, signature, anything.
"And it's okay. You don't have to set us up. I'm good. It was really nice... that's all it was."
