The son of a man who vanished into thin air back in 1991 before reappearing 30 years later - wearing the exact same clothes - made a heartbreaking admission.
Romanian local Vasile Gorgos had gone a business trip in the east of the country - having paid for his train ticket in advance - when he failed to return home again that very same evening.

His loved ones suspected foul play had occurred after the search ran cold, and despite countless appeals, no one could find any trace of the former farmer.
His family, therefore, began to believe they might never lay eyes upon him again.
That was, until 2021, when in a shock twist of fate, Gorgos suddenly reappeared, claiming he had no idea what had happened to him throughout the last three decades.
Asked by investigating officers where he'd been the entire time, Gorgos stated he had been at 'home'.

According to The Sun - who earlier this year reported Gorgos was now 95 - the man wasn't found to have be in 'good medical condition' despite some neurological problems following his disappearance.
He was reportedly able to recall stories about his father, the fact his wife had passed away, and his birthday.
Tragically, however, it's said the elderly man couldn't recognise his own children - a son and a daughter

"We don’t understand him," his son told the press at the time. "He doesn’t know what he’s saying.
"He talks to us about the period when he was involved in raising and selling cows. We ask him one thing, and he tells us another."
According to Gorgos' family, on 29 August, 2021, a car suddenly pulled up outside of their home, from which allegedly Gorgos emerged, seemingly confused.
It's said the car then sped off too quickly for any witnesses to jot down its registration.

The man's family immediately noticed that was wearing the same clothes he vanished in.
His ID also remained in his pocket, as did the single train ticket valid for the Bacău-Ploieşti line, which he'd taken the day he disappeared.
By this point, Gorgos' family had already held a memorial service in his honour, believing the worst had happened to him.
Gorgos' son continued: "Who knows where he has been, who kept him, maybe he was forced to work… who knows what kind of life he led?"
