With the Winter Solstice taking place this weekend, horoscope-believers across the world have been wondering whether their star sign is more susceptible to being influenced by the astrological phenomenon.
Thankfully, expert and medium Inbaal Honigman has finally spilt the tea on the matter, by answering all of the most hotly-asked questions on the matter...
What on earth is the Winter Solstice?
Even if you're unfamiliar with the term 'Winter Solstice', you'll almost definitely be familiar with its meaning.

It turns out that this event simply describes the shortest day of the year. Scientifically, this is caused by one of Earth's poles reaching its maximum tilt away from the Sun.
It usually falls on a day in December, and this year, it's this Saturday - 21 December.
"For the past six months, days have been getting shorter and nights longer," Honigman told Tyla on behalf of SpinGenie this week. "After today, this will be reversed, and each day will be a little longer, and each night shorter."
This event doesn't just mark a changing of the seasons, however - in fact, some astrologers see the annual Winter Solstices as something that sees the year being 'reborn'.

"The Winter Solstice’s influence on us all, is a moment’s stillness before the ascent towards summer," she went on. "It is time to take stock and decide what we leave behind, and what we take with us to the heart of next year."
The astrologer added that, for individuals born at certain points of the year - and, therefore, have a certain horoscope - the Winter Solstice can serve as a 'fantastic time for reflection'.
"As the light is reborn at the Winter Solstice, what kind of year are you hoping to have?" she asked. "Dream of your ideal year, results and outcomes, and once you've arisen from the winter's slumber - make haste and manifest it."
As we say, however, only certain star signs are most susceptible to being influenced by the event...
Sagittarius

Honigman began by explaining that the Winter Solstice marks 'the end of Sagittarius season'.
"The sign of Sagittarius is adventurous, outdoorsy, excessive and loud," she went on. "Sagittarius season overlaps almost exactly with the festive season, which is characterised as glitzy, noisy and a little overwhelming, so it marks a perfect match with its astrology.
"When the sun dies at midwinter, the festive season is practically over - the excessive nature of Sagittarius is left behind, and discipline begins."
She added, however, that the best way that a Sagittarius can move passed this bleak patch is to look to the future.

"They'll will be rattled by this handbrake-turn, and will feel a bit abandoned by the sudden cessation of joyfulness.
"The best solution is to book your next trip, Sagittarius. No matter how far in the future it is, having an adventure to look forward to will foster an air of anticipation in your wild heart."
Capricorn
Advert
As well as seeing Sagittarius season conclude, the Winter Solstice also marks the beginning of the Capricorn era.
"The sign of Capricorn is ambitious, disciplined, pragmatic and business-minded," Honigman explained. "Capricorn season marks the end of glitter season and a return to normal life, and as such, embodies the practical qualities of the sign of the Sea-goat.
"Capricorn has big plans for the year ahead, and there’s no time like the present. Capricorn won't wait for their box of Celebrations to be completely empty before they get started with those ideas."
Issuing a warning against burning out too prematurely, she advised that the 'best insurance' is the 'slight postponement of taking action', which she says should happen 'while focusing on planning and thinking only, for the first few days after Solstice'.
Leo
"Ruled by the Sun, no sign is made more alive by the return of the light than Leo, King of the Jungle," Honigman continued.
"The sign of Leo has a clear preference for longer days, sunny climes and the summer season. The end of the short days is a personal guarantee to Leo that all those will return, and this promise is enough to inject some bright rays into the Leo's day.
"Where thought goes, energy flows - as Leo focuses on the positive days ahead, days ahead will become more positive."
