One of America's biggest festivals, Coachella, kicked off today (11 April) and it would appear that things haven't quite gotten off to the smoothest start.
According to reports on social media, the music festival has seemingly erupted into pure 'chaos' with fans slamming it as the 'worst in history' before the gates even opened.
People have since rushed to Reddit to share their gripes with the organisation behind the annual fest, which runs across two weekends, in the Coachella thread on the discussion forum - a place where attendees regularly share updates, advice and complaints regarding the music event of the season.
Sparking the heated discussion, one Redditor hit out: "Car campers need either a partial or full refund."

"We've waiting nine hours to get inside this festival. No bathroom, no food. Likely won't be returning."
It didn't take long for others to share their experiences with the parking situ with a second writing: "For real what's going on with car camping?"
"Guys, this is my fifth Coachella, and I had never seen such horrible organisation for car camping, I've been here hours, just crossed the security check and literally no one is moving," hit out a third.

Others branded the wait times as 'chaos' and 'bonkers,' as a fourth added: "What is the hold up once you get past security?
"What is "security" even doing??? Confused."
Another quipped: "You'd think they'd have figured out how to get cars through the queue. This is INSANE."
And a final Redditer asked, per MailOnline: "This has to be the worst day zero in history, right?"

"If you've never camped, have you really experienced everything Coachella has to offer?" the website says, advertising the car camping option priced from $160 for Weekend One which features performances from the likes of Lady Gaga, Green Day, Post Malone and Travis Scott.
Other artists on the bill include Missy Elliott, Charli XCX, Megan Thee Stallion, Zedd, The Prodigy, Beabadoobee, Clairo and many more.
