Horrifying Snapchat voice notes between two 12-year-old killers have been revealed after they murdered a teenage boy.
The post-murder messages have been shared as part of the trial at Nottingham Crown Court, which has seen the two 12-year-olds convicted of murder by a jury for killing 19-year-old Shawn Seesahai in a park in Wolverhampton.
Seesahai had travelled to Wolverhampton with friends on 13 November 2023, and headed to the park where he encountered the two 12-year-old boys alongside a girl, who would later make a statement to police as a witness.

The two 12-year-olds, who can't be named for legal reasons, then 'shoulder barged' Seesahai before one pulled out a machete and 'chopped' at him while the other kicked, stamped on and punched him.
In chilling conversations retrieved by the police, one Snapchat message from one of the killers to the other read: "Everyone's talking abt (sic) it, literally everyone, everyone knows."
The other in the pair then responded: "It is what it is."

The other said: "I'm scared man."

This is followed up with: "I'm just scared your you too (sic)."

When police went through the boys' phones, they found images of knives similar to the ones used in the attack, along with internet searches for news articles on the attack.
One of the boys also searched 'how many criminal records can you have to leave the country' the day after the murder.
When the guilty verdict was returned, Seesahai's family were left in tears and hugged each other in the public gallery. Both boys were found guilty of murder, with one also found guilty of possessing a bladed article.

Following the verdict, Mr Seesahai's parents Suresh and Maneshwary told press they would never get over the death of their son, who they described as a 'very loving child'.
Ms Seesahai said: "Shawn was such a loving son, he was so well-mannered, looked after us, was loving to everyone and very protective.
"He always said he wanted to work, he wanted his own house, his own car.

"After his eye surgery he told me he would finish school. He always said 'mum. I'll be shining, I'll be shining, don't worry I will help you'."
The two 12-year-olds are believed to be the youngest people convicted of murder since 11-year-olds Robert Thompson and Jon Venables were convicted of murder in 1993 for killing two-year-old James Bulger.
Sentencing for the two boys is expected to take place next month in July.
