A Brazilian man who has been dubbed the 'living Nostradamus' has made a very eery AI prediction for 2025.
Athos Salomé, whose nickname is based on the 16th century philosopher and astrologer of the same name, is regularly in the headlines for making predictions regarding global conflict, natural disasters and tech developments.
The alleged prophet and seer claims to have predicted the covid-19 pandemic, Queen Elizabeth II's death and Elon Musk taking over Twitter - to name a few.

Most recently, Salomé has made some claims about what 2025 could have in store, and it's pretty terrifying.
Speaking to the Daily Star, Salomé said that there will be some scary developments with artificial intelligence.
Artificial intelligence has been growing rapidly in recent years, but Salomé believes that in 2025, it will reach the point of no return.

He also added that a 'global incident' could expose 'the autonomy' of AI, which will be able to make 'irreversible' decisions when it comes to sectors such as cyber security and transport.
Salomé says the big question is how humans will respond to 'losing control' to the technology they have created.
And if that doesn't sound horrifying enough, there's more.

In recent weeks, the 38-year-old has turned his attention towards the notion of an armageddon, predicting that a 'dangerous global crisis' is likely to spark an almighty world battle.
As a result, Salomé has urged his followers to 'pay attention to the signs' of global warfare, sharing visions of a global collapse.
Salomé is believed to have come up with the prediction after a series of geopolitical movements, which he says 'form a complete strategic pattern' pointing to something as devastating as the previous two World Wars.
For example, Salomé referenced damage caused to a deep sea fibre optic cable stretching out between Latvia and Sweden back in January, which resulted in fingers being pointed and Swedish authorities launching a full-scale investigation.

He also mentioned Finnish police seizing a tanker carrying Russian oil the month prior.
"An invisible war has broken out in the Baltic Sea," Salomé warned recently.
"Another interruption occurred in the cable network in 2023, which disrupted communication systems throughout Finland.

"These attacks continue to happen, which has led NATO to increase security measures in the area, while the European Union develops emergency procedures to protect critical infrastructure."
Discussing the prospect of a 'domino effect', he predicted these Baltic tensions could result in further conflict between China and the United States.
