Eamonn Holmes has sparked major concern with viewers after being forced to leave his live show early today (2 July).
Last week, the 64-year-old presenter opened up about his recent split from Loose Women's Ruth Langsford, 64, back in July, admitting: "I’m not OK. This is not a good time at all."
Speaking at the TRIC Awards, where he was nominated in the Best News Presenter category, as well as Best News Broadcast, Eamonn looked back on their 14-year marriage adding: "It’s too early to say but I hope we can still be friends."

Eamonn has been struggling with chronic pain for quite some time now ever since he slipped three discs back in 2021 and lost 'full mobility'.
He needed a wheelchair to attend the ceremony where he admitted to the Mirror it feels as it he was on 'borrowed time'.
He has also suffered several health issues in recent years before he and Ruth announced their divorce.

Explaining why he decided to attend the ceremony, he told the audience: "I wasn’t going to come, but I’ve got this new chair with all these gadgets.
"I had an operation a year and a half ago, and two things went wrong so I have two things in my back I don’t want. So I’ll happily accept this."
Earlier this year, Eamonn opened up about his health struggles.

He added: "I have tried every treatment, but you go. Maybe I'll never get out of it, which is a harsh reality to face."
