A former model and Miss Switzerland finalist was allegedly killed before being 'pureed' in a blender by her husband, it has been reported.
Earlier this year, Kristina Joksimovic was found dead in her home in Switzerland.
Local news outlet, BZ Basel, reports that the 38-year-old was allegedly strangled and dismembered in a laundry room by her husband before being 'pureed' in a blender, a court heard.

A day after Joksimovic's body was found in her Basel home, her husband, who is referred to under the pseudonym 'Thomas' in local media, was then reportedly arrested after her remains were found by a 'third party', Blick further reports.
BZ Basel also claimed that Thomas initially told investigators that he'd found his wife dead and dismembered her body in their laundry room in panic.
Thomas, who shared two children with Joksimovic, had an appeal for release from custody denied by the Federal Court in Lausanne on Wednesday (11 September) after he reportedly confessed to killing his wife.

BZ Basel also reports that the 41-year-old admitted to the murder during a crime reconstruction which took place a few months back in March.
He reportedly claimed that the killing was in self-defence after she'd allegedly attacked him with a knife.
However, medical-forensic reports reportedly contradicts Thomas' claims as the court ruled that Joksimovic had been strangled to death.
The autopsy report further claims that Joksimovic was then allegedly dismembered in a laundry room with a jigsaw, knife and garden shears.

Local outlets reported that the body parts were then allegedly chopped up with a hand blender and 'pureed' before being dissolved in a chemical solution.
According to the investigations, the alleged suspect reportedly displayed a 'conspicuously high level of criminal energy, lack of empathy and cold-bloodedness after killing his wife' as he made attempts to cover up the alleged murder, the Mirror reports.
Lorena Santen, who was crowned Miss Switzerland last year, has since issued a tribute for Joksimovic: "We will miss you so much."

Former Miss Switzerland, Christa Rigozzi, said back in February: "It's terrible. I'm really shocked. I'm thinking of her two daughters. She was such a beautiful and kind-hearted woman."
"It is very, very sad and shocking what has happened. I am also so incredibly sorry for the children," Swiss model and another former Miss Switzerland, Dominique Rinderknecht, added.
According to local publication, 20 Minuten, Joksimovic was crowned Miss Northwest Switzerland and was a finalist for Miss Switzerland 2007. She also had her own business as a catwalk coach.
