Prior to their evacuation, 41-year-old Spencer took to social media to show footage of Los Angeles Fire Department officials attempting to control the fire encroaching onto their home from across the mountains.
On his Instagram Story, firefighters could be seen attempting to douse the fire with water being dropped from above by emergency airplanes.
Sadly, however, their attempt was to no avail, and their property was amongst those in the Palisades area that was burned to the ground.
Spencer's sister and former Made In Chelsea star Stephanie Pratt also took to social media to confirm the fate of her brother's home.

"I am beyond heartbroken for my brother, Heidi & the kids," she wrote. "And to all of our friends and neighbours who have lost their houses today.
"Just spoke to my dad - he tried to save my brother's house but the wind is so strong there was nothing he could do. Even the fire station in the palisades has burned down. The Pacific Palisades is completely on fire. No one is there."
