It's been reported that President Donald Trump's son, Barron Trump, doesn't communicate with his friends using his phone.
Barron, 19 - who is the son of Trump and First Lady Melania - lives in New York and is currently a student at New York University (NYU).
The teenager has been studying and attending classes at New York University's Stern School of Business since September last year, having graduated from Florida's Oxbridge Academy.

Mum Melania has previously said that Barron's college experience is likely to be quite different from some of the other students, explaining to Fox & Friends last year: "I don't think it's possible for him to be a normal student. His experience at college — it's very different than any other kid.
“I’m very proud [of] how he’s handling [it]. He’s very strong and he knows that he’s in a different position than other children.”
However, according to Page Six, Barron has made some college pals at NYU, although he communicates with them in rather a unique way.
According to the publication, Barron communicates with his friends on Xbox.

“He has added it to his repertoire,” said a source. “It’s his communication platform of choice.”
Apparently, Barron cannot give out his personal phone number due to security issues, with the source adding that it 'creates more trouble than it’s worth'.
They explained: "If people get the number, they would give it out and then a million people would be calling non stop. You’d have to change the number constantly and it’d become a merry-go-round."
Of his chosen communication method, the source added: “It’s his work around. He’s still trouble shooting.”

Apparently, Barron only communicates on the gaming platform with people he knows.
“It’s gamer bro culture, they ask each other for their gamer tag,” the source added. “He knows the people.”

It seems Barron is pretty savvy when it comes to tech.
Trump has recently praised his son's skills, explaining to Fox News' Laura Ingraham that all of his kids are 'very smart'.

When asked which of Barron's talents stand out - politics or business - Trump said it was his technological abilities that were 'unbelievable'.

Recalling an example, Trump said: “I turn off his laptop, I said, 'Oh good,' and I go back five minutes later, he's got his laptop. I said, 'How'd you do that?'
"'None of your business, Dad'.
"He’s got an unbelievable aptitude in technology."
While people were understandably confused by the comment, others said it sounded like Trump had implied that Barron was able to access the laptop despite not knowing the password.
