A handful of stars have recently been branded 'Donald Dashers' for departing the United States around the same time that controversial Republican leader Donald Trump re-entered the White House.
Following his victory against Democratic representative Kamala Harris in November, January saw the 78-year-old return to the Oval Office alongside wife Melania and 18-year-old son Barron.
Naturally, the move went down sourly with millions of liberal voters - many of whom hail from the realm of entertainment, and many of whom have since made the monumental decision to leave America for good.

Of course, not all celebs have admitted that Trump's return to the presidency sparked their departures from the States, with some crediting other reasons entirely - but we can't help but notice the coincidental timings of such grand decisions.
How do we know so many American stars are 'Donald Dashing'?
According to experts who spoke recently to the MailOnline, there are several reasons why so many US stars are looking to the UK and beyond to set up shop - including Trump's recent row with Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy, and getting more for their bucks in property.

Figures from the Home Office also allege that more and more applications for UK citizenship have been flying in from across the pond since Trump's electoral victory in the latter quarter of last year.
In fact, these numbers are reportedly up by 40 per cent compared with last year.
So, which stars exactly have made the transatlantic crossing so far?

Days after the right-wing leader's win, a source close to Ellen and her wife Portia de Rossi informed press that the pair had put their colossal Los Angeles mansion on the market and fled America.
The same source alleged the LGBTQ+ pair would 'never return' until their home-country stabilises politically.
In the weeks after Ellen's supposed move, she and Portia were papped enjoying a bite to eat in British TV presenter Jeremy Clarkson's Cotswolds pub.
As we say, Ellen has not yet publicly acknowledge their departure from the US - something she also hinted at last year as part of a one-off comedy show she performed for Netflix.

According to The Sun, as well as appearing in the UK capital to film upcoming sci-fi film Project Hail Mary, the 44-year-old spent some time away from set checking out plush properties in the city's South-West region.
The connection between Gosling's plans to move abroad and the current political climate of the US have not been publicly connected by the Canadian star, however.

America Ferrera
According to reports published earlier this year, the Barbie actress spent much of January looking for schools in London for her children, amid full-fledged plans to relocate her family to the UK.
A source told the Daily Mail at the time that the move was directly linked to Trump's presidency - though this is something Ferrera hasn't yet addressed in the public eye.
"She is going to continue to have a presence in the US for work purposes and to fight for Latinas and women, but she will be overseas for family and to benefit her kids' education," the insider revealed.
"She wants them to have the best opportunities possible and to her, being overseas for that is what is important. She's not abandoning the US, she is prioritizing her life and focusing on the importance for her kids."

Sophie Turner
In the autumn of 2023 - following her highly-publicised split from husband Joe Jonas, the British-born Game Of Thrones actress made the decision to move back to her home-country.
Turner spent the majority of the decade prior working and living in the States - firstly in Miami with her musician hubby before the duo welcomed their two children on the East Coast, before deciding on Miami as the perfect place to raise their daughters.
"I’m so happy to be back," she told Harper's Bazaar of her decision to return to London with her children in October of last year.
"It felt as if my life was on pause until I returned to England. I just never really feel like myself when I’m not in London, with my friends and family," she added at the time. "I was away for so long – six years – and it was when my friends were getting engaged, and when I got pregnant.
"I went for dinner with someone the other day, and she said, 'I never got to touch your belly.' We didn’t have those key experiences with each other."
And whilst she didn't explicitly mention Trump, 29-year-old Turner did confess that turbulent politics and child safety concerns in America left her reluctant to settle down there for good.
"The gun violence, Roe v Wade being overturned..." she explained. "Everything just kind of piled on. After the Uvalde [school] shooting, I knew it was time to get the f**k out of there."
