Donald Trump Jr.'s new girlfriend, Bettina Anderson, has taken no time in calling out a magazine after they labeled him an 'a**hole' in a pretty scathing profile on him.
Now, Trump's eldest son, 47, and Bettina first went public with their relationship at the president's inauguration back in January, but it's believed they have been dating since last summer.
It's clear that the 38-year-old model and socialite has taken no time at all when it comes to defending Donald Jr. after catching light of a New York Magazine feature, which was published last week (26 March).

Setting the tone for the rest of the article, the profile in question was titled: "The Age of Don Jr. How the ultimate failson became an edgelord whisperer and bona fide power player."
The article in question contained an extract which reads: "As his father prepared to storm back to the White House, Junior was also upping his girlfriend game.
"Bettina Anderson is an actual to the manor born WASP, from the enclaves of Palm Beach that used to look down on the Trumps."

It continues: "She is nine years younger than Junior, and she doesn’t appear to have submitted to the Mar-a-Lago face restructuring popular among many ladies in Palm Beach MAGAland.

"Palm Beach society is a little surprised at Anderson, since Junior 'is the most despised member of the family; he’s an a**hole, a spoiled heir', according to one insider."
Bettina later took to Instagram to share her outrage over the feature, which scorned her new beau as a 'spurned nepo boy'.

"That’s my guy!" she wrote on her Instagram story while also laughing over the anonymous source's remarks at the cente of the piece.

"DEFINITELY an 'insider' VERY familiar with Donald Trump Jr," the overlay text read, followed by two laughing emojis, as screenshotted by Page Six.
Donald Jr. has also since rushed to his own defence online, hitting out on social media: "Don’t get me wrong. I can totally be an a**hole when I need to be... if you’re adversarial to my friends, my family, my country, MAGA, etc.

"But I think you’d be hard-pressed to find a regular person who actually knows me that thinks that."

He added: "There’s no wonder why these 'sources' are always anonymous."
Slamming the claims made by the insider, Donald Jr. finished up by directly addressing the anonymous source, demanding: "Man up, put your name to it, but we know you won’t because you’re cowards."
