Donald Trump has issued a seriously savage response to Rosie O'Donnell after she opened up about leaving the United States.
Now, Trump and actress O'Donnell have had a long-standing feud which dates back almost two decades where she said on The View back in 2006 - long before the Republican leader was involved in politics - that 'he annoys me on a multitude of levels' while also mocking his hair and voice.
Trump responded by calling O'Donnell 'a woman out of control' and, throughout the years, the spat has continued with the latter infamously making the unfounded claims in 2016 that Trump's son Barron has autism, for which she has since apologised.
The latest update in the saga saw Trump criticise O'Donnell and her choice to move to Ireland during his White House meeting with Irish Taoiseach, Micheál Martin, on Wednesday (12 March).

A reporter asked Martin why he 'let' the American comedian to move to the country - something which Trump was clearly eager to share his response to.
"Ireland is known for very happy, fun-loving people," the reporter said. "Why in the world would you let Rosie O'Donnell move to Ireland?
"I think she is going to lower your happiness."

Before Martin was able to answer the question, Trump interjected: "That’s true, I like that question. Do you know you have Rosie O'Donnell? Do you know who she is? You’re better off not knowing."
Such comments were made after the former talk show host confirmed her relocation on Tuesday (11 March) and clarified that she and her 12-year-old daughter Dakota moved in January.
The timing of the move drew attention as it took place on 15 January, just five days before Trump moved back into the White House to serve as the 47th US president.
However, O'Donnell did not explicitly say she left the US because of Trump, although she did speak about the country's political and social climate.

With that said, the move seems to be going swimmingly.
"It’s been pretty wonderful, I have to say," O'Donnell said in a nine-minute TikTok post. "The people are so loving and so kind and so welcoming. And I’m very grateful."
The Flintstones star said she’s in the process of getting her Irish citizenship as she has Irish grandparents.

"I was never someone who thought I would move to another country. That's what I decided would be the best for myself and my 12-year-old child. And here we are," she explained.
While noting that she and Dakota were 'happy' in their new home, O'Donnell continued: "I miss many things about life there at home and I’m trying to find a home here in this beautiful country and when it is safe for citizens to have equal rights there in America, that’s when we will consider coming back."
Seemingly referencing Trump’s second term, the new Dublin resident noted in the video: "It's been heartbreaking to see what's happening politically and hard for me personally as well."

She also explained why she decided to make an announcement about her new home.
"I just felt like we needed to take care of ourselves and make some hard decisions and follow through," O'Donnell shared, touching on her absence on TikTok. "And now as we're getting settled, I was ready to post this and to tell everybody what's been going on."
Tyla has contacted O’Donnell's representatives for comment.
