After the rumour mill tried to pin Elizabeth Hurley as the cougar who saw Prince Harry’s crown jewels, thanks to a revelation in his book, she hit back at the claims.
Hurley, 59, best known for her work as a model and starring in Austin Powers, was quick to defend herself after people thought they had connected the dots between her and Prince Harry’s rendezvous with an ‘older woman’ who took his virginity.
It all began thanks to a vague story in the 40-year-old's 2023 tell-all memoir, Spare, which delved into his life as part of the royal family as well as containing some bombshell claims.

He wrote of the time when he was 17 and royal aide Mark Dyer came to visit him at Eton, ‘looking grim’.
The passage read: "I suspected he was referring to my recent loss of virginity. Inglorious episode, with an older woman.
"She liked horses, quite a lot, and treated me not unlike a young stallion.

"Quick ride, after which she'd smacked my rump and sent me off to graze.
"Among the many things about it that were wrong: It happened in a grassy field behind a busy pub. Obviously, someone had seen us.”
A classic virginity-losing experience then.
During an episode of Watch What Happens Live earlier this year, host Andy Cohen asked Hurley about the theory.

She immediately denied the allegations, saying: “That was ludicrous!”
The model went on to explain: “He said, ‘She was English. She was older than me. It was in Gloucestershire.’ And [people] were like, ‘Ah, it’s Elizabeth.’ It was absurd. It was ridiculous.”
Hurley added: "It was like saying, ‘He's great-looking. He's American.’ Oh, it's Andy Cohen."

She also went on to tell Cohen that she’s ‘never met him’ in her life.
Even though Hurley was adamant that she’s never been acquainted with Prince Harry, some thought it could have been her due a few connecting factors.
One being that Hurley loves horses and even sold a a three-year-old filly named Memory to Queen Elizabeth II in 2011. The sale raked in £500,000, according to Horse & Hound.
Prince Harry told People of his memoir: "I don't want to tell anyone what to think of it and that includes my family. This book and its truths are in many ways a continuation of my own mental health journey. It's a raw account of my life - the good, the bad and everything in between."
