The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, broke royal protocol when attending a Wimbledon match in 2019 - and it was iconic.
Kate, who also holds the title of the Princess of Wales, has been largely absent from the public eye.
Earlier this year in March, the Princess shared a video that revealed she was undergoing treatment for cancer.

A further statement in June included the following: “I am making good progress, but as anyone going through chemotherapy will know, there are good days and bad days. On those bad days you feel weak, tired and you have to give in to your body resting.
"But on the good days, when you feel stronger, you want to make the most of feeling well. My treatment is ongoing and will be for a few more months.”
She went on to say: “I am learning how to be patient, especially with uncertainty. Taking each day as it comes, listening to my body, and allowing myself to take this much needed time to heal.”

Kate's adoring fans have been missing her presence since Trooping the Colour parade in June, so were overwhelmed with joy when she made an appearance at this years Wimbledon final on 14 July.
She wore a purple dress and was all smiles as she took her seat next to her daughter, Princess Charlotte, and her sister, Pippa Middleton.
Wimbledon is a favourite event of Kate's to attend, and many people will remember her attendance in 2019.

Being in the Royal family box at Wimbledon comes with a plethora of strict rules to follow - but Kate cheekily broke one.
Back then, the Duchess offered her support to a desolate Roger Federer after he lost out on the trophy to Novak Djokovic in the men's singles final.
Breaking royal protocol, Kate extended her arm around the tennis ace, and was overheard reassuring him that he was 'incredible'.

The two clearly share a special friendship, often sitting together at Wimbledon.
On another occasion, in 2017, Kate kissed him on the cheek three times following his win, as reported by the Express.
As for how Kate was feeling at this year's Wimbledon, body language expert Darren Stanton shared his insights.
He said on behalf of FruitySlots: "When we saw Kate walking along, she had her shoulders back with her head held high as she took long strides. The way she was walking suggests that she is feeling good about herself and has the inner strength to take this public appearance on independently.”
