After weeks of social media speculation about Kate Middleton’s health, it has been reported that the Princess of Wales has been spotted in public.
The internet has been swirling with rumours following the news the princess was undergoing planned abdominal surgery and would be temporarily withdrawing from public engagements.
To make matters worse, a now-infamous photoshopped Mother's Day family photo did nothing to calm the social media frenzy.

A huge number of people, including broadcaster Piers Morgan, urged the palace to release the unedited family photo in order to put minds at ease, but they have yet to, so people’s online conspiracy theories have only got worse.
Today, however, it seems there may be reason for many to hang up their tin-foil hats, as it has been reported that Kate, alongside her husband and future king Prince William, have been spotted at a farm shop in Windsor.
There are no photographs to support this claim, but the source told the Sun all about their shock sighting.

They said: “After all the rumours that had been going round I was stunned to see them there.
“Kate was out shopping with William and she looked happy and she looked well.
“The kids weren’t with them but it’s such a good sign she was healthy enough to pop down to the shops.”

After Kate first bowed out of the public eye following her health issues, the palace released a statement that she was ‘unlikely to return to public duties until after Easter.’
With that in mind, it’s likely no more official photographs will be released until then, but it is unclear why there are no paparazzi shots of the farm shop trip.
Last year, Kate and Prince William were photographed drinking Guinness following the Irish Guards Parade, of which Kate is the honorary colonel of the regiment.

During yesterday’s celebration, the Princess of Wales was replaced by Lady Ghika, wife of the regiment’s Major General Sir Chris Ghika.
Kate and William share an official account on X, @KensingtonRoyal, and yesterday posted the message: “Happy St Patrick’s Day! … Sláinte to all those celebrating today!”
An alleged friend of Kate, who spoke to the Sunday Times as a source, said: “They are at their most open when out interacting with members of the public and I can see a world in which the princess might discuss her recovery out on engagements.
“If she was going to do it, that’s how she would do it.”
