A Royal insider has given somewhat of a disappointing update following Kate Middleton's recent appearance at the Wimbledon final.
Royal fans were delighted to see the Princess of Wales make her second public appearance at the weekend since announcing she has been battling cancer.
The Princess was joined by her daughter, Princess Charlotte, and her sister, Pippa Middleton, to the tennis finale.

Kate appeared cheerful, wearing a stunning purple dress and a big smile on her face, as she handed over the trophy to winner Carlos Alcaraz.
But fans may be disappointed by the news that has come from a royal insider, who has reported that this may have been the Princess’ last public appearance for the foreseeable future.
Prominent royal author Robert Jobson, who penned the forthcoming book Catherine, the Princess of Wales: A Biography of the Future Queen, has given insight into the royal’s recovery plans.

Talking to PEOPLE magazine, he said: “Before, she used to live her life by the calendar, and now she is living her life, and the calendar comes in after.
“She will be back, but when you have had an experience like this, it changes your perspective and the order of things.”
He added that she had ‘showed a lot of courage and character’ during her appearance at Wimbledon, ‘as she knew that the world was watching’.

After announcing her cancer diagnosis in March, she took some time away from the spotlight to focus on her treatment and recovery.
Just three months later, the royal wrote a letter stating that her chemotherapy was ‘making good progress’, but was understandably having ‘good days and bad days’.
Before her appearance last weekend, she was also seen on the balcony of Buckingham Palace surrounded by her family, for King Charles’ birthday celebrations, marking her first outing since her announcement.

With two public appearances under her belt this year, the royal insider has suggested that we may not see the Princess for a little while.
It has been suggested that the family will spend the rest of summer at their country home of Anmer Hall, located on the Sandringham estate in Norfolk, England.
An expert lip reader who also spoke to the magazine said: “Being with her family and just being herself will give her energy.
“There will be plenty of time to focus on her recovery, she won’t have to be centre stage.”
