Royal fans are all saying the same thing after viewing a viral video of King Charles III performing with a peculiar musical instrument.
His Majesty the King has a long-standing affiliation with classical music, having been a patron of various institutions, including the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music and the Royal College of Music for many years.
As well as being a proficient cello player, the 76-year-old also has a storied history with the trumpet and the keyboard.

According to The Express, he made his orchestra debut when he was just 15 years old - an experience he called ‘extraordinary’.
“I loved playing in the orchestra at Trinity [College Cambridge] - albeit rather badly,” he admitted during an interview.
Now, after delighting fans with an unconventional display, the King can add being a recordist to his arsenal.

Earlier this week, the reigning UK monarch hosted 350 guests, including leaders of community music groups and music-related projects, at Windsor Castle.
Buckingham Palace said the evening aimed to ‘highlight the work of grassroots groups and projects’ and ‘celebrate the vital role music plays in strengthening communities and the important work of those developing future musical leaders’.
King Charles met guests in Windsor’s Waterloo Chamber where they watched performances from students at the Royal College of Music, the Sing for Freedom Choir and saxophonist YolanDa Brown.
During the evening, the father of William, the Prince of Wales and Harry, the Duke of Sussex, performed himself by temporarily joining the London Vegetable Orchestra.

He took to the floor to perform a rendition of ‘Twinkle Twinkle Little Star’ on a carrot recorder.
ITV reports that a member of the London Vegetable Orchestra told Charles that the vegetable instrument was ‘specially made’, adding they ‘stayed up all night making it’.
“At least I can eat it,” the senior Royal responded, as per Classic FM.

ITV News’ Royal Editor Chris Ship was one of the guests who had the opportunity to experience the carrot recorder first-hand.
“Things you never thought you’d see… King Charles playing a carrot at Windsor Castle,” he wrote to his 174,400 X followers.
“He was supporting community music at a reception - but, often game for a laugh, Charles took the vegetable/instrument and stuck it in his mouth. Then played a tune (at least we think he did).”

In response to the viral clip, one X user typed: “We used to be a serious country.”
A second commented: “I know it’s silly. They all know it’s silly, but it’s funny and I love it..”
Someone else claimed: “He's lightened up a lot since his grandkids came along, and I think it's utterly charming.”
While another wrote: “Negative people should chill and drink some carrot juice. Well done King Charles for having a bit of fun. Life is too short, so ignore the bloody haters.”
