A royal biographer has spoken about Prince Harry's recent trip to the UK and why he didn't meet up with his father King Charles.
The Duke of Sussex, 40, has been in the UK for a two-day appeal hearing regarding the decision to reduce his security in the country.
Harry and his wife Meghan Markle sensationally stepped down from their royal duties and moved overseas to build a private life for their children five years ago.

After their security was downgraded as a result, Harry launched legal action, which ended up resulting in multiple hearings.
Of course, Harry now lives in California and with the Duke's trips to the UK pretty limited, many wondered if he would be meeting up with family during his time on home soil.

However, at the time, King Charles was on a state visit to Rome with Queen Camilla and it was reported the pair would not be able to schedule in a catch up due to their overlapping commitments.

However, one expert has claimed there's another reason why the pair didn't meet up.
Royal biographer Robert Hardman says the reason why lies with Harry's court battle.
He told the Daily Mail's Palace Confidential Show: "There is legal jeopardy which is the simple fact that here you have the son of the King suing the King's ministers in the King's court and that just creates all sorts of legal problems.
"It would only need Harry to have a conversation with his father and then afterwards let slip, 'Oh my dad said this or my dad said that' and as we know, he does repeat conversations quite readily.

"That could lead to all sorts of problems. It could actually bring down a court case because the King is the fount of justice. He has got to be very careful."

Following the appeal hearing, the Duke of Sussex has suggested that the decision to reduce his security was a calculated attempt to stop him and his wife, Meghan Markle from stepping back as working royals and moving to the US back in 2020.
According to a report in The Telegraph, Harry has said his 'worst fears' were 'confirmed' after alleged secret evidence was heard during his ongoing legal battle with the Home Office, which has seen Harry fighting to receive his previous level of security while in the UK.

Much of the appeal was heard in private due to 'confidential evidence'.
Speaking afterwards, Harry said: “People would be shocked by what’s being held back."
He also added that his 'worst fears have been confirmed by the whole legal disclosure in this case and that’s really sad'.
