Following reports that Meghan Markle and her husband Prince Harry are undergoing a 'professional separation,' it appears that King Charles has made his opinion on their dynamic quite clear.
The marriage of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who have forgone their royal duties, moved across the pond to Los Angeles following the birth of their son, Archie.
The two are known for attracting excessive media attention, which they spoke out about during a now-infamous interview with Oprah Winfrey in 2021.

Meghan admitted that she had struggled with suicidal thoughts, and that aggressive headlines caused her significant distress.
When the two moved to LA and worked together on a number of joint projects, it seems things had worked out perfectly for the Sussexes.
However, after it emerged that Meghan had begun attending events on her own rather than without Harry, people began to worry about a 'professional separation' signalling a relationship rift.

After attending the Southern California Welcome Project - devised by Meghan and Harry's charitable endeavour the Archewell Foundation - the Duchess shared: "This initiative, led by the partner organisation Mina’s List, has spent the past year building community through storytelling and creating a safe space for women who have resettled in the U.S. from Afghanistan."
She continued: "The evening included a shared meal that encouraged open conversation centered on gratitude and resilience."
It seems that the two are still going strong within their marriage, but are focusing on working apart more frequently than they had before.
This has led to many people wondering what King Charles, Harry's father, thinks about the arrangement.

Amid reports that Meghan and Harry are once again set to miss the royal Christmas plans, many believe that the family rift is yet to have healed.
A source told People that the Sussexes were not invited to the royal gathering at Sandringham.
This may not come as a huge shock to people as the duo haven't involved themselves in the festive tradition since 2018 - but may upset those who were hoping for a reconciliation.

The source added that Harry and his father are barely on speaking terms.
They said: "[When Harry calls] he gets ‘unavailable right now. His calls go unanswered. He has tried to reach out about the King’s health, but those calls go unanswered too."
In the 2022 docuseries Harry & Meghan, the Duchess recalled Christmas at Sandringham fondly.
She said: “I remember so vividly the first Christmas at Sandringham.

"Calling my mom, and she’s like, ‘How’s it going?’ And I said, ‘Oh my gosh, it’s amazing.’
“It’s just like a big family like I always wanted,” Meghan continued. “And there was just this constant movement and energy and fun.”
