Prince William has admitted to posting on fan forums under a 'secret name' and people have been left quite shocked at the news.
Now, for some context, the Prince of Wales - who serves as chairman of the Football Association - is apparently a major Aston Villa fan, having attended the FA Cup semi-final back in 2000 which saw Villa beat Bolton Wanderers FC.
So much so that he allegedly uses a 'different name' to discuss the team's latest developments on football forums.

Earlier this year in January, William sat down with fellow Villa supporters ahead of the team's upcoming match against Everton at the time.
The meeting took place at a Wetherspoons pub in Birmingham.
The likes of Steve Jones, a fan of the team for over three decades, has since revealed what William revealed during the chat, namely claiming that the father-of-three 'keeps abreast of Villa gossip because he is on all the fans' forums'.

He added: "He goes under different names and he posts on there because that’s how he gets the feeling of what’s going on and what’s the opinion."
Steve went on to say that the royal 'had a vast knowledge of Villa', adding: "We brought up a couple of topics and he was very eloquent.

"He didn’t have to look up to his aides, he knew everything. We spoke about the recent West Ham game and the changes [Unai] Emery made in the second half."

The footy fan, who is also chairman of Chasetown Football Club, told the Athletic: "He started talking about double pivots and how Emery moved Youri Tielemans’ position. We were like 'What?' He was talking about possible transfers, who might leave and who might come.
"We spoke about PSR (profit and sustainability rules) and Chelsea selling their women’s team. He admitted he would love to have more opinions on certain things within the game but he can’t in his role as president of the FA."

On Tuesday, (11 March), the royal visited a referee training course as part of a campaign to recruit more people from Black, Asian and mixed heritage backgrounds into refereeing roles.

William visited the course at Sporting Khalsa FC in Willenhall in the West Midlands just one day after his appearance at the Commonwealth Day service in London alongside his wife Kate Middleton.
One clip from the walk-through which is making its rounds on social media shows William greet a number of people including one woman who was sporting a bright red pixie cut - something which clearly caught his attention.
"Look at your hair! It’s fantastic," William said to the woman before playfully teasing: "Wish I had hair like that.
"I know, I’ve not a chance!"
